looks good, been looking for something simple, might see if addin beds and the like with Jaxonz positioner and use the spell from Hearthfire multiple adoptions will do the trick for followers and kids, if that doesn't work i'll just have top open ck and figure it out somehow in there, will keep you posted.
OK, I've tried the Jaxonz positioner out and placed a few beds around the place (no screenshots as i literally just dumped them randomly) used the spell from hearthfire multiple adoptions and got "This is not one of your homes" message, guessing it would need to have the ownership set to player in ck or something along those lines. I've really only got about a 2% success rate when attempting CK (and much prefer playing the game over breaking it) but i'll give t a shot when i get the chance.
sorry the news wasn't better folks, but at least I can say that i did it and saved you guys the time on that combination.
still an awesome wee castle, needs a basement though
Interesting I wonder why "This is not one of your homes" message pops up. It could be because I don't have the Hearthfire DLC, but the ownership should be set to player. I'm thinking of doing a remake of the interior when I've finished all of the mods I have knocking about.
I honestly have no idea why it comes up, maybe the hearthfire thing, your ck knowledge clearly outstrips my own but hey, still a damn fine player house !
When I walked through the halls, I got a feeling to move out all that common, seemingly random placed furniture, to enjoy fully this holy free space and to let my imagination flow around, thinking about what it could be here, who built it, and why. The high floors, the wooden archicture, the whole design - yeah, the Jarl's architect won the avantgarde-reward. But what is it? For what is it for? A temple, a monestary, or a big restaurant? The core of the design is outstanding, pretty strange and very impressive. Now, I suggest, take a break, free you mind and make something "new" from it, rather than just a place for housing, storing, filling up with mannequins and so. It, I believe, could be so much more.
Just the texture of the doors are not matching - to "cheap".
The warden towers have each of them 6 free places at the wall for weapon racks, which would make 30 places for weapons each tower... pleaase! The plagues dont fit in roughly stoned simple watch towers.
Would you be interested in a version which removes all the clutter? I believe there are some mods which add beds and stuff like that. (I could be wrong)
things like extensible follower tweaks can allow you to have any follower move into your home. i have four homes, with four followers or spouses living in each. i think it depends on number of guest beds in a house for how many can live in it. wasn't sure how many beds your sweet looking house has.
sad face i'm looking for a place where i can move a bunch of my followers and wives that DOESN'T require dragonborn or dawnguard DLC. i'll still give this one a shot, tho, cuz it looks really cool
cool can you designate where you want the beds, etc., to be? there's definitely space in this awesome house to add beds, just so it will let me move everyone in. my female elf wants all her followers and wives in one house XD
You don't have to make scripted quest, as that can take some time, you should leave clues as to how to gain ownership of this castle, little pieces of paper set up at a bandit camp that speaks of the castle, and where that last known key holder went. These are the best quests because you actually have to use your brain and not blindly follow a quest marker.
Is this castle free or do you have to pay or fight to get it? I don't need a complicated quest, but I always prefer to earn such large possessions rather than just be able to walk into them while there are so many homeless beggars in Skyrim. That makes it hard to believe that there are free castles all over the countryside and breaks immersion for me. Even just putting in a bunch of hostile bandits would do it for me...
