Second I saw this I wanted it, however... it's showing up in my mods list but not in the 'Steel' Section of the smithing menu. I can't make them. Do you need perks invested?
What I'm trying to say is that you could make it better by making it a bit more realistic. You can blow me off, that's fine, but what I'm telling you could get you a lot more endorsements, or other recognition.
I understand what you're saying and I thank you, there is katanas as you show me and like this too, this is a work in progress as it says in the description I will go adding more, this was only the first and the textures that i had, the next will be different in many ways. I did this also to combine with my armor.
I would not say that. that is badgering him some saying he will get more endorsements and other recognition... That is reportable neighbor. He can design it however he wishes. those of us who appreciate the blade will endorse him.
And to correct your, most noble katana did have a shine to them. Please do better research and provide better honest facts then one site. Katana and Japanese culture are a hobby of mine. Common Swords did not warrant the gleam. granted most did not have a mirror image that we give and know, but nobility always was gleamed until it was almost mirror or even mirrored.
If I could throw in my penny's worth: ZeroSbr1 you are quite right that not all Japanese blades are mirror finished. There are many schools of blade creation. I've seen antique (16 Century) blades on display that are mirror polished, others that are not. I own a few modern Katanas and some are highly polished, but others are more sheened. The oil on them of course takes off some of the polish! My ugliest has to be a grotty cheapo " Damascus Steel" [read: probably made from melted down old car springs in a non-Japan part of Asia] Katana which is as dull as pewter but it weighs a ton and *looks* pretty mean! My best blade is mirror polished.
That all said, Alrock10's Katanas are lovely to look at and are a quality bit of design in their own right. That's why I am downloading his mod because some of the others I have are poorly rendered.
There's room for all kinds of Katana here and I shall watch Alrock's mod with interest!
Peace all - (and some enjoyable in-game slashing...lol )
