It's not, I cancelled the project basically, I got a bit more done in it but no real reason to update it IMO, what's here works.
Just had a lot of fallout (Pun intended) in people 'helping' and VA's etc, learned a lot though and plan to keep things a bit mroe reasonable in my fallout mods and probably just going to pay people who help VA's modelers etc, because 'free' has translated to 'almost never' in terms of people helping and following through
Well that's saddening, I was looking forward for discworld, I thought it was going to be a while before it was finished so I gave it a while. came back and found out, it's basically cancelled.

Put at TOP of load order
Read the FAQ's and Known Bugs before posting one please Also watch the video
Bear in mind it IS a Alpha and in no way a finished product
Unzipped it is approx 1 gig
Reminder, THIS IS A ALPHA TEST, there are probably still bugs, and this is approx 25% finished of what is planned Comments in the vein of that will just be cleared, honey badger too busy to deal yo!
NOTE for people who need to cheat etc I use massive amounts of trigger boxes, so God Mode is fine, though some scenes remove it, and some falls insta kill you through it, because it has to or the triggers would go haywire. TCL PLEASE USE MINIMALLY, trigger boxes will NOT detect you if using TCL, and I have like 300 of the damn things all over, so you will probably bug things out in a quest if you TCL past one
So summary, god mode all ya want, if you TCL a ton and post bugs I'm gonna infest your house with cockroaches
Big fan of Discworld, so when I noticed this mod today, I had to give it a try. It is a 2014 mod, an Alpha level mod, so it IS a bit rough around the edges. BUT the thing is... it appears to be very fun in an hour of playing, looking around and then on an adventure with Cohen. But it does conflict a LOT with my load order (my little game does have over 1000 mods ), so I will be putting this on hold for a secondary playthrough later. One thing that I was impressed by, at least in the playing I did, the custom voiced dialogue appears to be really good. And... it captures the spirit of the Discworld... not taking itself to seriously... at all!
I never dl before this mod because usually Alpha-releases are catastrophic, then I forgot it, and I rediscovered it 6 yrs later. Nice, very nice ! There's much imagination poured in it, and some quests are really hilarious, the Stargate exit then really is outstanding. I frankly don't know how much it recalls Terry Pratchett novels, because - shame on me - I don't minimally know this writer, and another reason that blocked me from trying it before, was fearing that it was centered on disco music or likewhise... :-( Really hardnut-minded, yesss.
This mod has however two very disturbing issues.
The first is that the first 3 quests go well, and are well enchained. When you finish the 3rd, you're invited to go away, and return to skyrim. Actually, there are (more or less) other 15 quests to play, some perfect, some with flaws, anyone worthy. You can find them all consoling "help 0_" (without brackets). Some have a tie, others are totally indipendent, but literally you have to scavenge for them. There's a video showing some. But, when playing, a video is not easily consulted, a few lines in a textfile bound with the dl package, with a detailed quest-list and chain, would have been a great bonus. If you played Blackland, you understand what i mean.
The second is the incredibly low number of places appearing in the map. This obliges the player to marathons to reach so many places, sometimes then to leave them, and experiencing a very boring backtracking to return to them. Console may be of help, to avoid this boredom, but cell names adopted by the Author are often very long and have little references to the name you "see", so disguising. "Sala's general store" cell is e.g. named: 0_disc_ankhmorpork_gen_store_1 not so easy to connect to the place, if you just wish to "coc" to it to avoid backtracking.
With little more effort this mod would have been even more interesting and fluid to play. A pity that has been abandoned like it is.
Let's face it. This is Skyrim , not Discworld. It neither has terry prathets humor nor anything else that refers to him except names of characters and locations. Not that I actually would have expected it. It could have become a great mod without raising false aspirations first. Unfortunately it didnt even do that.´it#s an unfinished heap of failed attempts. I am so sick and tired of mods that will be updated soon and never get updated cause the author does not have the stamina to actually go through with it and blames it on the others....
This mod is excellent! It does have many glitches and rough edges, so its not for everyone, but it is fully playable. Ignore the people saying things like "it broke my game" - utter nonsense. If you're ok with using the odd console command to move NPCs around when they get stuck, then there is nothing stopping you from enjoying this very underrated mod. Its such a pity the author had to abandon it after they were let down by people who promised to help but then didn't.
Details on one of the bugs: I spent some time troubleshooting the infamous "goblin memory" loss of controls bug that happens for many players during the "snuff" quest. It seems to be a mod conflict, since the bug does not happen on a vanilla Skyrim setup. So I worked through my 100+ mod list and I narrowed it down to perhaps the last mod I was expecting - "Dragon Break" by the very same author as this mod. With "Dragon Break" disabled, the goblin scene now works for me. Just putting this info up here as it may help someone having the same problem.
EDIT Feb-2021: I have played over 100 quest mods but this is still one of my favourites. I wish it would get updated and ported to SE!
I suppose since he made the mod, he's free to dedicate it to whomever he likes. Who comes on a dedicated Nexus mod page and censures the mod author as "foolish" just because he chose to dedicate HIS OWN CREATION to someone or something which may have personal significance to him? Kindly take your smugness and politics elsewhere, SDM and AC, no one wants to hear your bleating here.

Anyway, quite worthwhile to be played !
