Do I need the original mod as well to see the ring on my left hand?
I followed the instructions and downloaded Gemling Queen Jewelry (where I didn't choose the left hand option) but the ring won't show up in first person
Oh my god, the installation of this mod is ridiculous! There are way too many files, and they even have to be manually renamed before we put them in the Data folder and enable them!? This is absurd.
Small problem - Linux :) There are none good managers for Linux / or/ cross platform. Every one is made of .NET trash. Also many modders love to to put RaNdOm cases in file names, while on linux it is case-sensitive. So...manual install only is possibly with manual check of everything.
Is this the mod that auto-switches rings from right to left and back again? I have some mod doing that, and it's mostly good but once in a while I can't completely unequip some particular ring without dropping it. Trying to figure out which mod is doing this so I can dig around in it.
Hi! I don't know if you're still paying attention to this or not, but so far it works almost completely perfectly for me, so thank you! I *am* having a minor conflict with another mod, however: Orc Female Animations (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/27808/).
So when I enable this mod even with OFA enabled, it reverts my orc character to her default masculine body movement style. I can see the left hand ring in FPV like this, which would be fine if i liked the masculine animations for orc women, buuut I don't, which is why I installed the other mod. I can re-enable OFA and restore her feminine animations, but the problem is when I do this, I can't see left hand rings in FPV anymore. It's a minor issue and doesn't actually interfere with your mod's functionality at all, but it is a little disappointing. I just don't understand why this happens, considering that your mod works perfectly with other female characters who use the default female animations.
If you see this, could you maybe take a look for me? I really have no idea how to go about troubleshooting this at all lol. If you don't want to, that's okay too! Like I said, it's only a minor issue and not one that impacts everything else the mod does so no biggie. ????
Anyway, thanks for making this updated version! This little issue aside, it's been lovely. ^_^
It's a conflict between mods trying to change the same race records. You can hunt this kind of stuff down manually, and pull out all your hair, or use Race Records Master to identify the race changes between mods more easily. It does require some understanding of TES5Edit, but it also includes good instructions (well, I hope they're good, anyway).
Unofficial Skyrim Modder's Patch ( https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/76101?tab=description ) includes the original Left Hand Rings. May I still use that mod with this one? Or are they strictly incompatible?
I was kind of wondering that myself. I generally like to have all the unofficial fixes I can in my game but I also would like working left-handed ring options.
It removes left-handed ring stuff from USMP 2.0 (1.1 never had any to begin with).
@Homercide: I've made you an admin of that mod as well, in case the aliens abduct me again and don't bring me back this time. Feel free to provide a copy of it directly as a download here, too. I doubt it will ever need an update (and if did, I would tell you).
PS: It wasn't that USMP "includes the original Left Hand Rings". Rather, it included a special wedding ring, set for a specific body slot, as did LHRM and probably some other mods.
uh... after I installed this mod I can't use woodman's axe to chop firewood. I'm using Campfire + Hunterborn. I've tried moving the esp ups and downs, results are still the same.

EDIT: Several months later... DOH!
