This is a simple patch of Unofficial Skyrim Modder's Patch 2.0 to stop interfering with Left Hand Rings Modified and other left-handed ring mods.
It removes the left-handed marriage ring provided by USMP, which was out of that mod's scope in the first place ("bugs, inconsistencies, and errors that can come to light from a modded install of Skyrim and its DLCs").
It makes no other changes to USMP or any other mod.
This has nothing to do with USMP 1.1, which contained no such thing.
Update: There is a newer Unofficial Skyrim Modder's Patch 2.5.5 (or later), and LE backport of the SE version. It is available from the Special Edition USMP page. The ring-related code in it did not change from 2.0, so this patch should also work with up to 2.6.2.
Update 2: USMP version 2.6.3 changes the wedding ring to slot 50 and makes it appear on the 3rd finger of the left hand.
Installation:
1. Install USMP 2.0 (or 2.5.5+) first.
2. Overwrite USMP's "Unofficial Skyrim Modders Patch.esp" with the one included in this patch.
3. Delete ...\Skyrim\Data\Armor\AmuletsandRings\GoldRingLeft_1.nif (optional; save a little disk space).
3. Install LHRM or some other left-handed ring mod.
Credits/permissions
PlagueHush credited "The Community" as the real collective author of USMP, and says that "it may be used as a modder's resource to all." So, this patch is released with no restrictions of any kind, other than the built-in one that material based ultimately on Bethesda code can't be used in other games (which isn't really applicable to a patch of a patch of this game anyway). Nexus requires every mod uploaded here to have an image, so I poached one from Left Hand Rings Modifed by Homercide. Update: sattyre has taken the PlagueHush USMP mod from 2.0 to 2.5.5+.
Homercide and PlagueHush and sattyre have been added as administrators of this mod, and along with Duggelz (author of the original LHR mod) get an even share of its Mod Rewards or Donation Points or whatever they're calling them now.
