      it seems like a mod conflict, are you using a mod that modifies the world or smoke in some way? it might be the reason. try disabling them.

   green smoke for me , if y need unistal remove interior fog mod , its not for me .
   
   with remove interior fog mod y win 10 fps in donjons .
   
   can you remake tis mod compatible with remove fog interior please !,,

      I'm using remove interior fog v2 and i don't see any green squares. How does a 1 pixel transparent texture end up green?

   Installed, worked like a charm.
   Thank you Sir ! I kinda dislike the smoke effect in this game.
   
   AND THERE IS NO GREEN SMOKE AT ALL !!!! Learn to install textures guys.... Zzzz

   Hi there, I'd just like to say thank you for this mod (5 less fps at Whiterun entrance) what I like best is with the smoke gone you get a nice shimmering heat effect that was hidden before. Great effort and highly endorsed..Cheers

   I don't get why you guys are getting green smoke, lol. It's working well for me. I have remove interior fog mod. Still no green smoke. The smoke is gone as advertised. +1

   If the point of this mod is to raise FPS, please state that in your description. Because if that is the case- I will gladly try this out. For a couple extra FPS, I could easily live without smoking urns!

    Works perfectly. Thank you! Smoke always caused lag for me so this is a blessing. ^^
