I have both Proudspire Manor Refurbished and your Princess Proudspire in ~ no issues at all. I did add the Refurbished mod first and purchased all the rooms before adding yours, but other than the mead barrel clipping over a many I haven't found any issues.
I couldn't get into or out of the pool ~ but I solved that the same way I fixed the barrel. Jaxonz. I just lowered the pool wall and made it into an 'infinity' pool without touching the steps. Now I can run in and out without a problem.
Are you able to make a patch for Proudspire Manor Refurbished? That is a poplular mod and combined with this makes the ultimate Proudspire experience. Love this mod though.
I think this is the Proudspire mod I'm gonna use for my 3rd install of Skyrim. Can't resist the idea of a pool in there. Looks sweeeeet! Any news about the framerates, bugs, getting stuck in the pool issues? Princess Stomper? Fellow downloaders?
Additional questions: Do you recommend installing this before or after purchasing Proudspire? Do you need to buy it and furnish it first?
- Framerate - depends on your computer and personal tolerance. I think it's OK. - Bugs - none reported, although it might be showing as modifying Ustengrav due to me copying a cell from there (it shows as changed, even if you didn't touch anything). I'll fix that up at some point. - Getting stuck in the pool - my female character didn't get stuck, but if you're a tall guy with an arrow quiver, you might. TCL. - You need to purchase Proudspire to gain entry, but it doesn't make any difference whether you furnish it first because it doesn't do much to the existing cell (other than adding a door and a few minor touches). It might look a bit odd to have one furnished wing and one unfurnished wing, though.
Very nice. I like the additional storage, around the alchemy & enchanter tables and the inclusion of a forge, lacking in the regular manor.
I did find a slight problem though. My character wanted to take a dip in the bathing pool. She had a game and a half trying to get into the pool and now she can't get out. Not sure whether there is enough headroom at the top of the steps.
@Edit Suggestion. Maybe it would be better to have a sunken pool, rather than a raised tank.
If you find yourself stuck or in need of a bath , there are some work arounds.
1. To exit the bathing pool you can either fast travel or use the 'Center on Cell' (coc solitudeproudspiremanornew) console command.
2. Toggle off collision, using the (tcl) console command to enter or leave the pool.
I always thought Proudspire was a bit "smallish"...like there was supposed to be more but just couldn't fined it. This mod "adds" that other area Proudspire seemed to be missing! Very nicely done! The Third floor bedroom is truly a "princess" bedroom with all the amenities a "princess" would want. Love the idea of a Platter on the wall as a "mirror"! The second floor bedroom is great for followers or kids! A bit of refinement will, I'm sure, be coming. You'll probably get plenty of "suggestions" for improving this excellent mod! Maybe less bookshelves, more idle seating, etc. (since one really uses the home for rest from long "adventuring") Maybe a few less display cases and a few weapons rack instead. The Mammoth is a nice touch but, a nice cozy table and chairs might be in order...like a small "sitting room"? In all it really "expands" proudspire into a "manor" not just a "townhouse"! Thanks again, keep up the good work, you're on the right track!
