    Sticky
I made a few minor changes in v1.0.5
-Remove HP regen when sitting and replaced it with stamina regen. To allow HP to regen one must usually wait a considerable amount of time but since stamina and magicka were already regenerating fast, sitting and meditating can be used to speed up the process even more and get going again.
-I added a new sleeping animation (lay down sideway). It is different than the others and a bit more difficult to "aim" precisely but I'm sure some will enjoy it nonetheless.

Version 1.0.5 Does not work for me. The item does not appear at the Inn, and the console command does not work to add it.

Try help "meditate" in the console to get its code and then player.addspell or player.additem for whichever one comes up in the search results, book/tome or spell.

      Bralor,
Those changes sound nice and I suppose regenerating stamina when sitting makes much more sense than HP.
I also like the sound of the sideways sleeping position.
However reading through the latest comments many people seem to have issues with this new version and since the original is working flawless in my game I am going to stick with it until this one has those bugs worked out.

Would it be possible in a future update to be able to select between both sleeping positions?
Also would you consider adding a stretch and hand warming animation for those who use Campfire now without the Frostfall animations?
Thank you for considering it, your mod is a must have for my load order, cheers.

Hello, I also use this and love it, ( my version is recent, 1.0.5 ) specially when I strike beds that still just have the dark sleep screen when your standing near the bed, i can use this, and I can select between side way sleep or lay down to sleep o.O works fine for me I also use from workshop "another sleep mod" as well , both work fine, but I don't use great deal of mods anyway

Will there be more actions added to this later? This is so simple and yet it seems to add much more to the game! I think adding a few more gestures- even if they don't have any direct benefits -or even a few more various of the ones you already have would be amazing!

I love also that this doesn't require some additional extended animation script like FNIS (which can apparently kill the games animation when uninstalling). So this is safer and more simplistic.

Do the following in the console:

      help meditate
      player.additem xxxxxxxx 1

Where xxxxxxx is the value given in the Book entry displayed from the help meditate command.

after using lay down side way my characters eye do not re-open i have to reload the save. Is this a known bug or a confliction issue?

The eyes being closed after sleeping seems to be a gamewide problem. It happens with many mods.

The "Go to Sleep" mod has a fix for this built in. However, you must install "Go to Bed", and use the MCM menu (which requires SKSE installed). The MCM menu has a button that you clock to forces eyes to "fix".

First, thank you for creating a cool mode. But there is a little problem.
If select Sleep when lying down, the character suddenly stand up while the screen fades out. What causes this problem?

FYI there's a very small compatibility issue with the mod Spell Learning and Discovery (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/87495). That mod adds "learning notes" that replace whatever spellbook you take, and that includes this mod's book, which is removed, but the power is not learned.

It's very easy to solve by using console commands to add the book to your inventory tough. Still, kinda immersion-breaking.

But the power appears in your learning list doesn't it? So if you waited you'd have learnt it eventually. This is a great mod btw, I've been using it for a long time.

    Hello BralorMarr!

If it is possible, I really would like to know how you did manage to make the character playing the meditation idles. Is it from the original game? (idlegreybeardmeditate) or are they new? I'm trying to get the same animations for the mod "Religion" (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/67663) But it is really a pain in the ass. I am new to editing mods, so I would gladly use a hand^^

Of what I understood, Greybeard's animations cannot be played by the player because they use Idle Markers. With TESVEdit I didn't find any references to theses. Could you please give me some hints?

    Thanks :)

      This bypasses checks:
      Debug.SendAnimationEvent(Target, "idleGreyBeardMeditateEnter") ; to start
      Debug.SendAnimationEvent(Target, "idleChairExitStart") ; to stop

Thanks, dude, for your nifty little big tool of sorts. Finally I can choose my spot to do nothing when and where there is no bench, seat or bed.
But now, it saves my ass too when I get stuck in the sneak animation bug, I just hotkey the spell to trigger the remedy animation... no more reloading a previous (forgotten?) save.
I wonder why I wasn't aware of your mod for so man years. Nor why this wasn't considered in the first place to be added to the initial Bethesda core engine anyway.
    Oh well.
    Merci beaucoup.

I'd venture to answer that this is because, like me, you love to roleplay in a sandbox game. Modded TES game have been great for that. But the vanilla games (TES, Fallout) are clearly more and more oriented toward the casual hack-and-slash gamer, no roleplay, no decision, just kill stuff. So that's why character actions other than swinging or shooting are not present. That's also why the world is an inconsistent mess of enemies attacking you for no reason. Luckily, we have modding flexible enough to add gameplay elements to some extent.

Seems like if I use this mod with Enhanced Camera, I get warped to a blue void and I have to fast travel to get out.

Gotta go in the magic effect script that controls all actions and add the functionality (can be more or less copy and pasted from the current sleeping section).

Weird bug when exiting animation where I'm walking on a flat collision, either hovering above or clipping through the floor, camera also getting jittery, and jumping leaves me in the falling animation for a long duration. Can't get out of it unless I fast travel. Could be problems with Enhanced Camera.

I've found a bug that's kinda hard to explain, but here goes. The bug occurs if you use the mod to sleep with the laying down animation, then save your game while still in the animation. What happens is every time you re-enter the cell you just slept in or load a save into that cell, the game will teleport you to the location you slept in. For example, every time I enter the Sleeping Giant Inn in Riverwood now, my character is instantly teleported to one of the beds. I can't figure out how to fix it and I get the feeling it's probably going to be a permanent issue at this point since I've continued playing on that save game.

Maybe this is the first-person animation teleport bug? Are you in first person when the animations play? Try going to third person. *shrug*
