Details ruin the surprise. There's a reason I didn't state that getting hit with spider spit causes paralysis. I wanted people to check it out and be scared of spider encounters, and then surprised and yet amused by it. Once the aggravation of it wore off, of course.
Guess I'll not bother uploading my other spider mod, then, since no one likes a good unexpected scare.
Well I hope you DO upload your other spider mod - it sounds intriguing!
I appreciate your hope to surprise people - thats a fun approach. Unfortunately people are wary of installing mods that might cause instability so they want to know the details of a mod before they install it.
If you write up a normal description, this mod will do really well as VANILLA spider spit is not very scary. I like the idea that you're momentarily paralyised, but the spider should continue to approach and bite, doing damage rather than stop attacking - this would make spiders a better threat!
Unfortunately, I have no control over the spider's AI once the player is downed. I'll have to look at what controls their "ignore" function and see if I can set them to remain aggressive, without bjorking anything.
However, the problem there is they might spam paralyzing spitballs at you, leaving you infinitely paralyzed and getting pwned harder than hard, especially if you're alone, or there's more than one spider (as happened to me once where Immersive Creatures dropped 25 regular-sized Tundra Spiders in one location - they slaughtered two mammoths. Had they been Giant Spiders, I'd have stopped playing Skyrim completely  ).
As soon as I can get the other spider mod doing what I want, I'll post it. It's going to be an outright pants-filler, to be sure
It causes the spiders to stop attacking though, as you are poisoned. Sort of an odd choice, although one assumes it was meant to not 1-shot low level toons. That mod is excellent, however.
Simple, yes. Obviously if you're resistant to it, the humor is lost on you. However, with multiple followers streaming around a corner and being piled up, it's a riot.

Good work and good luck!
