I don't think so, but you reminded me I didn't check him as he is the only snow elf vampire in the game, when I get back to Skyrim I might have a look at Vyrthur. I presume he is not a true vampire when it comes to race, but merely SnowElfRace with added vampire eyes and vampire perks, same trick is used for Harkon, Valerica and Serana to give them human look while being vampires.
I've tried virtually every "face fixer" on the Nexus. Some of them worked, some of them worked better then others, some did not work at all, and some made matters worse.
This one works. For how long, I don't know, but for the moment I'm not fugly. Even the "eyeless" version won't help my peepers; eyes revert to vampire default when I zone, but I rather like them.
Glad it is working for you, sadly Skyrim modding is not an exact science and depending on how many mods (and which mods) people add to their game things can break sometimes, often for no apparent reason, what works for one player may not work for another even though it should work for both.
I'm well aware of that. Skyrim modding is very much art, and very little science. The only diffrence between Conflict and Synergy is weather you prefer the result.
The only mod which works for me and also works with Ethereal Elven Overhaul! It doesnt help with random npcs for me since i assume they use their own models. Unfortunately for me it doesnt replace the eye texture but instead overlays it which causes weird clipping on eyes because of regular and modded texture being displayed at the same time
EDIT: workaround for eyes (which appaer to be a problem only on mer races). Set depth to your desired value, then change eye color to get seranas texture. after that move depth a little bit deeper into the skull. Unmodded teture will be obscured
I am not even sure where to ask, but is there a simple fix for brown faces like Hert's at the mill? No class, stats, status, items, hair or eyes or other changes, just a fix for this very prominent issue. Thanks in advance, apologies if this is definitely not the right place to ask.
I can't seem to get it to work. The mod makes it look a little better, but I still have sunken cheeks and I can never change the eyes, even with the no eye fix. I'm not sure what's wrong.
Great mod, brown face dissapeared but for no reason, vampires aren't hostile anymore... i mean they don't attack anybody :/ (sorry my english isn't perfect)
EDIT : fixed it by placing the mod before ultimate combat
Hello, not sure if you are still supporting/working on this mod still, but i was wondering could you make or perhaps show how to make a version of this that keeps the vampire face tint but changes the eyes still? I ask because for some reason my vampire's eyes didn't glow anymore, but this mod fixed that. However I still like the vampire overlay. Thanks!!
Can you clarify a bit what do you mean exactly by keeping the vampire face tint, but change the eyes still? Keeping the original Dawnguard vampire face, but having eyes like Serana? I am not sure what exactly do you want from your explanation.
Well, for some reason (and believe you me I've spent hours searching for why, to no avail) when my character who is a male breton became a vampire(lord), his eyes did not glow, unlike every other npc in the game whose eye glow maps seemed to be working fine. I have no problem with how bethesda made the vampire face gaunt/grotesque with the split down the lip and what not. I actually like that. What I'm trying to do is get my character's eyes to glow again, which this mod seemed to fix, but I want to keep the evil vampire face intact.
You need the eye replacer only version, I just noticed I have such a version for Special Edition, but not for vanilla Skyrim, I will make a version for vanilla Skyrim when I get the time and that will give you the default Dawnguard face while still having Serana's eyes.
