It looks similar to a German Grosse Messer great sword, so just change it to two-handed. For a one-hander, you could reduce it's size about 25% and you've got a sweet falchion. Textures may not be up there with the master modders, but it's better than vanilla.
1. Grosse messers are single handed... Messer is German for "knife", grosse messer meaning "great knife" 2. This reminds me more of a cusped falchion than anything else.
Not bad so far, could use some fixing though. >The grip doesn't look right clipping into the cross-guard - put a langet where they intersect. >Grip should be a bit shorter for it being a one-handed sword. Adjust it too so your hand isn't so close to the crossguard. >The false edge bit near the tip could be curved more. >You should definitely taper an edge on the cutting side >The quillions could be a bit less exaggerated, maybe a bit thinner too. Not too sure what else to say, I like it otherwise. Keep it up. if I hadn't already loaded my Skyrim down with weapon mods this would be in there, but besides that for being your second model it is very well done, obviously there is a lot of room for improvement but don't ever stop as you have talent to make some truly great models keep up the good work!.
Looks better than the last one, however the metal textures could be a little better. Perhaps working on the normal maps (especially for the handle) might help. Still, nicely done.
I like the design but the sword is a bit big to be one handed, and the texturing could be a bit better (i know you are a beginner). but anyway the sword is very cool and i'll download it
