the guild master armor was still weakened. over all it lost 40 points of armor rating, I have max light armor skill with all perks and a ring of peerless squire. I compared the armor rating before I installed the mod and after. before it was installed the rating was 345, after I reinstalled it the rating was 305.
Okay I just looked at it now and can confirm the guild master's armor ratings have definitely been increased, not decreased. All except for the cuirass which was kept the same. So I'm not sure what the problem for you could be. Maybe a conflict with another mod? Do you use a mod like Weapons and Armor Fixes Remade? That could be causing problems possibly. In which case maybe a bashed patch would fix it.. worth a try?
the guild master armor has a higher armor rating than the blackguard armor. it would be better to just switch the enchantments, or strengthen the ones on the guild master set.
Hi, sorry I should have clarified: Yes the guildmaster cuirass has a higher armor rating than the blackguard's cuirass, hence I left those as they were. All the other pieces of the guildmaster's armor set though (the hood, boots and gloves) had lower armor ratings, so those I switched around. I also switched around all the enchantments, again except for the ones on the cuirasses, as they were identical. I also changed the values of the pieces to reflect the changes to their enchantments and armor ratings. Hope that clears things up
