Hey everyone. I've decided to leave the Skyrim modding scene. If anyone wants to take over one or all of my mods, please let me know by private message (I get email notified). Otherwise, all of my mods are distributed with full source code in the BSA file, so feel free to alter them as you wish.
I highly doubt anyone will see this anytime soon, but I might as well give it a shot. I believe this mod may have caused a bunch of MCM menus for other mods to disappear. Using the "setstage ski_configmanagerinstance 1" console command doesn't seem to bring them back either.
I tried out another mod (MCM custom order: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/82002) to see if I was able to at least see the hidden MCM menus, and I was. All the menus I couldn't find before can be found in the MCM menu of the 'MCM custom order' mod. However changing the order of the hidden menus doesn't make them reappear again so that I can acces the settings. I've tried to re-install and uninstall the MCM kicker, but no succes.
Anyone has any other ideas or possible fixes besides loading an old save from ages ago? I would really prefer to not have to replay gigantic chunks of content I already did.
I'm sorta confused. Where would I put the fixmcm or mcmfix? in the document or as the title? and should I make setstage SKI_ConfigManagerInstance 1 the title of the document or put it in the folder? i'm a bit new so please don't attack me
If running the console command "setstage SKI_ConfigManagerInstance 1" does nothing should I also try this mod, or does it just do the same thing as the console command? Someone advised me that if that console command didn't work I could try this mod, but from the description it looks like this mods just implements that console command at game load so it wouldn't be any different for me.
If that command doesn't work for you, then this mod won't either. I had an issue with Autosave manager not showing up in the MCM and nothing I did helped it until I restored to a save from before I installed the mod. That may be the only way to fix your issue (though seeing as this was posted in May, this advice won't be much help).
seems nobody did except a few people as exe on websites don't feel comfy downloading from.... Would have been nice if someone had done it and gotten the mod authors permission to put it on sse nexus.oh well.
Wondering the same thing :c anybody heard any news? I really need this to work cause I'm certain frost fall has a MCM menu, Ineeds doesn't load up options etc.
1. Load .esp in CK, Save 2. Unpack Archive 3. Unpack .BSA 4. Delete the version checker script. 5. Recompile Archive 6. Re-install mod Optional 7. Load in xEdit, and flag as .esl, save 8. Deploy (Vortex)
Flagging it as an ESL did not work for me, but otherwise it's fine. For me it's worth a slot not to have to keep reloading the game every time I accidentally steal something from an innkeeper when I'm trying talk.
This mod revealed I have 2 missing MCM menus after it said 51 new menus installed yet I counted only 49. I know one of them but cant even tell what the other is. How do I fix the menus so they return?

setstage SKI_ConfigManagerInstance 1
in it. Put it in the skyrim directory. (steamapps\common\Skyrim)
the file should NOT have an extension! for example mcmfix or fixmcm or something like that would be fine.
When you need to fix the MCM, open the console and type "bat mcmfix" and the command will run.
Save and restart the game, and MCM should update itself.
