New update is up, v3. Replaces my ugly rooster with Qasiermo's model (thank you for the permission). I've also packaged the mod into a BSA for easy management. Choose only one .esp and its .bsa, and COMPLETELY UNINSTALL previous versions for best results. Enjoy!
So I'm out exploring and see a marker for something up ahead that I don't recall seeing before. Hmm, what's this I wonder, so I go to have a look. After all my time using this mod, I only just found that little hidden spot with the chicken's nest and nice collectible item lol. Was a great surprise. Thanks for this and many of your other mods which add a lot of enjoyment for me.
I don't remember editing the navmesh on this. I did add a new cell that has navmesh so if you're checking on TESEDIT it may be those. Otherwise it may just be some old wild edits, I dunno. I'm not supporting my Skyrim mods right now, sorry.
Hey Jokerine, for some reason my roosters aren't using the new mesh. I have v3 installed.
EDIT: I'm trying to self troubleshoot to see if it's my end, as I also noticed my chicken feathers where not showing correctly. I have a feeling it probably is just something hidden in MO overwriting your files somehow, though MO doesn't indicate anything as being in conflict with your mod. Bit weird.
I checked the download and all files are in order, so maybe you still have some loose files kicking around, and/or you didn't replace the old BSA with the new one when updating. Besides that, dunno, sorry. As I said all files are correctly set up in v3.
It should, yeah, but you should make sure you've deleted old files before extracting the new ones. Otherwise old files still stay behind and cause the issues you mentioned in your first post.
It's so odd because I can't find anything that would conflict with your files. I reinstalled your mod just to be sure and made sure all the files where replaced. No old files.
I'll try and re-install the file without extracting the BSA and see if that helps.
Okay, I'm an idiot. The roosters are there. I was getting some hens with slight greenish tail feather confused for the old roosters, and there where no new roosters present so I assumed the hen was the rooster, but I just visited a new farm and the new mesh roosters are there, so it's just me being a complete moron. Sorry for the hassle Jokerine.
Sooooo, are the chickens summoned with the spell permanent? Like, can I leave and go far away for several in game months and they'll still be there when I come back, assuming nobody has killed them? Wondering how long they'll stick around if I summon a few chickens around my house.

Please consider taking some pics of the roosters if you find some! I could use some more pictures of them in the gallery
