When i select "ride with me" option for my follower (whiterun housecarl) the only option i have when she asks for a horse is the "on second thought, another time" one even though i own 2 different horses. Anyone what im doing wrong?
I'm seaching for a Horse Stabling MOD long time. This mod is the greatest one, but still too heavy for me. personaly I dont want horse armor any more because it's very unrealistic and if I use horse armor MOD, I had to use another MOD like NPC ride horse and horseman I dont think those MODs will work well with my MODS. So I hope I can use a simple version of this MOD and I dont sure if the arvak ghost horse can be open the inventory. that's unimmersive for a ghost horse carry items for player. I also hope this MOD will disable the Arvak's inverntory.
simply is good, I'd like the next updata will cut sonething useless like armors, whistle, NPC mounting,...Keep the stabling ond follow/no follow at at fast travel.

Would you be willing to change the price of the horse armors, so each individual armor has a different price, maybe like 10 to 20 times the price of the equivalent set of armor?
I'll give it a try, and I'll throw in armor ratings while I'm at it. Hopefully it'll be a quick tweak and I'll have it up soon. Probably end up with two flavours: one with Protected horses and one where you have to rely on the armors. Sounds good?
Update: So I priced the armors (Leather/Dwemer/Nordic/Ebony/Dragonbone/Daedric) twice as much as a full set of player armor, they're 520/1990/5850/7100/10150/15300. Files have been updated What do you think?
It's good, except you forgot to update the conditionals on the Dialogues with the new prices, so if you have less than 10,000 gold you can't buy even the leather armor... and you can still buy the Dragonbone, Daedric, or Ebony even if you don't have enough, so long as you have 10,000 or more.
The amount taken is correct, it's just the conditional that hasn't been updated (and if you buy one of the more expensive ones when you don't have enough gold, it just zeroes your gold.)
Easy fix, fortunately, and I've already edited it in on mine.
Great mod, for the most part, but I have one problem and one nitpick.
The nitpick is that while you can tether your own horse, it doesn't seem possible to do so with your follower's. As far as I can tell, it just follows them around regardless. The whole ownership problem prohibits doing it manually, and if you reclaim the horse, whenever you tether one, the other starts returning to its home stable.
The problem is that, for some unknown reason, when I try to rename a horse, it just freezes everything. The mouse cursor still works, so I suspect that it's pausing the game in favor of a Dialogue Box that for some reason isn't appearing. I suspected a problem interacting with SkyUI, but the problem persisted even after removing it.
I'll see if I can figure out what's going on myself, but it's really not THAT important. Any suggestions as to what to look at would be appreciated, however.
Anyone try this mod with UFO yet? It has some horse elements as well, but UFO has caused my horse to become a psycho. I'm looking at this mod as a fix but was hoping someone might have some experience using it with UFO before I take the leap.
