Oh no, no and no! Seriously, just not. I hate vanilla hair. : / Because they look awful (in my opinion). If someone just wants to see apachii hairs on npc, I recommend: ApachiiSkyHair NPC Overhaul (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/15411)....---- My suggestions is the numbers: 53, 54 in this photo (http://static-4.nexusmods.com/15/mods/110/images/10168-1-1392514294.jpg),,,,,, 47, 50 from this picture (http://static-4.nexusmods.com/15/mods/110/images/10168-2-1365903134.jpg),,,,,, 22, 29 of this images (http: // Static - 4.nexusmods.com/15/mods/110/images/10168-1-1365903132.jpg),,,,, and 02! (my favorite) from Those (http://static-3.nexusmods.com/15/mods/110/images/10168-5-1332631512.jpg),, (http://static-4.nexusmods.com/15/mods/110/images/10168-3-1329526832.jpg) .... and possibly number 06, M17. The most I would like to see number 02. ...Of course.. I don't please of all of the hairstyles ... That's just my examples. I will be happy if you choose only one of them. I think that realization all of the vanilla hairstyles would cost too much work.. . I think you want specific hairstyles, so here they are. thanks for your great work.(sorry for my bad english...;>
I think realization some,, wigs " with HDT, would be interesting. (http://static-4.nexusmods.com/15/mods/110/images/10168-4-1340571891.jpg) Of course if you're interested.
Just for your info, ApachiiSkyHair NPC Overhaul have multiple problems and its not functional as is, its not updated for very long. You can use but i wouldn't advise for bad experience.
Personally, I prefer long hairs, but if you're shooting for realism/immersion, in the era that skyrim appears to be set in, it was not uncommon (actually quite popular) for men to don long hair.
Maybe some curly hairtypes, some straight hair thrown back, some ragged-lookin hair? Perhaps some mowhawk pony tails? I hope you understand sort of what I'm saying. If you want a visuals..
I don't personally play male chars so I'd like to suggest starting on hairstyles that work on both genders. Numbers 40 or 41 perhaps? http://static-2.nexusmods.com/15/mods/110/images/10168-2-1365903134.jpg
I use ApachiiSkyHair NPC Overhaul few months and I do not have any problems with him. I installed this patch: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/56551/? , and then I applied the advice from this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BsPSZtOBl3g I would recommend to also install this: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/35092/?
I'm actually one of those weird people who doesn't like the Apachii hair and prefers vanilla-style stuff. Like, a lot of the designs* are lore-friendly, sure, but the hair itself looks like a damn shampood and conditioner'd supermodel's hair, all smooth and straight, not scruffy like you'd see from someone actually out there in the middle of a blizzard, let alone staying with the medieval theme. Granted, referring to the medieval thing, when you go into the lore you see TES isn't just some medieval fantasy, there's a lot of concepts and vocabulary that you'd see in modern times as opposed to medieval, but there's still that certain amount it sticks to medieval. Having everyone looking prim and proper in TES4 made sense because that was the friggin seat of the Empire there, but up here in the harsh frozen wastes of Skyrim you're gonna look a little rough around the edges.
So, bottom line, if you wanna do Apachii hair that's fine, but please, please please do the vanilla hairs first, because there's an absolute ton of hairs in the Apachii pack and you don't wanna be taking on all that at once. Starting with the vanilla hairs gives you a managable set to finish up, not to mention it's more practice for when you eventually take on the Apachii behemoth.
* And that's not even getting into the designs that you don't even see that often on supermodels, let along regular people. All those spiky hairs...
,, I would indeed suggest the Witcher That hair style is added in Apachi. " ,, The Witcher Geralt hair from 2 " ,, I was just going to ask for it! " ,,If you can make Geralt's hair flop, you are a God. Good luck dude! "
Indeed, one of the Witcher hairstyles (ponytail) is already made here: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/47000 However, you can still do even one of them, located in ApachiiSkyHair. I mean this: the number 50 with this link: http://static-4.nexusmods.com/15/mods/110/images/10168-2-1365903134.jpg These hair are from The Witcher 2 game... This hairstyle is inspired by the first part of the game. I'm also a big fan of The Witcher. (I come from Poland). I join the request. Sorry for my bad english You can also do hairstyles from this modification: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/9198 Peace!
I'd really like to see one of those long braided hairs physics'd for men. Please? xD
The only male one I see on Apachii that is long and braided is 37, though It's really missing out on the bangs from the physics'd ponytail that is really popular. *sigh* A mix of the bangs from that one and 32 would be perfect for my character...
So, not entirely sure you are still making men's hair, but I just found this hairstyle, it looks amazing but the clipping is unbearable. I think physics would solve that. It's the first hairstyle here, with the ponytail : http://static-2.nexusmods.com/15/mods/110/images/10168-2-1392514297.jpg From apachii's male elven pack.

I second that. Even if they were animated by someone as talented as bb, they would still suffer from horrible textures and many really dumb styles. Maybe it would be different for male PCs, and yes, I am aware that bb started this post by saying he (or she?) was doing male hair next.
I would love to see ANY long, sexy female hairstyle that is NOT a ponytail. Ponytails are "cute," "perky," etc. but not especially sexy/sensual in my opinion. Plus, ponytails and other styles where the earrings show prominently highlight the fact that dangly earrings are bizarrely static and never move, which kind of mars the overall effect of the moving hair.
The problem with the few physics-enabled long hairstyles already available is that they are animated in a small number of large "chunks" of hair and therefore don't move right or even look right standing still. I imagine that it is MUCH more work to animate very small batches of hair in a long, flowing style, which is why most hair animators start with ponytails (which are already gathered into more-or-less of a single "chunk" of hair) and/or animate other styles in large chunks of hair instead of just a few hairs at a time.
So my vote for "what's next" would be to animate some long female hairstyles in much smaller chunks of hair than most animators have done so far. That would make bb a hero, IMHO.
As people have said, vanilla hairs would be cool (saying they have bad textures is moot, as mods fix them and make them look nice). Some would even be easy (comparatively). The male elf high ponytail, as you'd only need one or two bones, and the dark elf pigtails would also be comparatively easy. If you make it happen then you would be a hero. I want to play with lore friendly hairs that sway about.
for men, here's some idea that i think would do good hairstyles if they have HDT:
- ever seen the movie ''Big Hero 6'' ? the black guy's haircut (with dreads) could be fun. - hairstyles based on some from Dragon Balls, like Trunk, or the wildness of the hairs when supersayen.. - viking style, you could even add small viking helmet with HDT, so that when walking the helmet moves a bit..
@Jas0123, Using mods that increase the model and texture resolution of vanilla hairs makes them look pretty nice. The problem isn't the style, it's that Bethesda is terrible at what they do
Vanilla Male HDT Hairs would be one of the most download and endorsed hair mods right up there with Apachii's! Remember that converting the vanilla hairs to HDT will mean that the hair meshes will not appear under any equipped helmets (both modded and vanilla) anymore like the vanilla hair meshes do, and your player character's head will look bald. This is why Apachii made the wig add on to avoid this happening with his/her hairs) Take into consideration that converting the vanilla hairs to HDT plus keeping them visible under helmets like their vanilla counterparts AND move freely at the same time may be beyond Skyrim's engine limitations...
Can someone explain to my how "Enhanced Character Edit" fixes clipping with this mod? D: i don't understand i'm kind of new to modding, is supposed ECE doesn't even have physics mmmmm.
I wish some modders continued to make some hairs but... fat chance, now that Skyrim is sooo old... I'm currently using this (and for some reason I have A LOT more FPS with this than using KS Hairdos - HDT), the only slight downside is the lower quality hair texture.
I'd really love to see more "warrior-ish" hairs. For example, google Impa from Hyrule Warriors. Now that's a unique style Or just plainly some more ponytails, viking-style (short/shaved sides, the rest into ponytail)
PS: For some reason, this is the only hdt hair that doesn't do weird things to boobs. If I use any other hdt hair mod, one boob is shoved to the side as if the nipple was being pulled over the shoulder..
Hi, I install the mod and I'll reinstall it but somehow when I try to find the hair, it is not here. So is this normal or do I need to install it correctly?

Just adding HDT to vanilla hairs (male and female) would make you a bit of a hero, I'd imagine.
Couldn't have worded that any better.

I'm using hair 22 for a Diablo trilogy inspired character. If you could make those hairs HDT that'd be a great thing.
