I am using this mod and ACE Combat Skills and, I have an issue with defense states. I am wearing heavy armor equipment "Vanguard Armor (Heavy)" and the defense state says i have " Low Armor" and ACE treats it as no armor. What do i have to edit on Tes5Edit under Immersive Armor- Vanguard Armor to get ACE Combat Skills to recognize it as Heavy armor. I read somewhere this guy changed keywords for it to work..What Keywords is he referring to and what did he change it to
Hey, checked on your problem, but I can't find on my patch's end a problem as vanguard armor seems to be recognized as intended, with heavy armor penalties and the armor full set perks working. If you're just asking what I've done, ACE does not recognize the keywords added by hothtrooper in Immersive Armors (e. IAKArmorthis, IAKHeavyorlightthat, etc.). You must add in vanilla keywords under the Armor section in Creation Kit for ACE to cooperate, such as ArmorHeavy, ArmorCuirass and ArmorMaterialSteelPlate (I used steel plate since it's the closest comparable rating). Is that what you were looking for?
More or less, Does ACE give the penalty if i have 2 heavy armor equipped and two light armor? however this equals a total of about 160 AR...That could be the issue and i am not aware of it.
From what I can tell, ACE uses varying degrees of penalty when it comes to heavy armor. One if you're wearing any at all, and another if you wear at least 3. Light armor seems to get no penalties, at least as long as you keep weapons and magic out of the equation.
Yeah sorry about that, I'll modify the description. You only need it if you use the armor esp module from ACE so the bonuses you get from ACE will apply to Immersive Armors.
