Such a nice idea, can't wait to try it with Frostfall. Sick of running out of firewood and taking an hour to find 2 pieces in the wilds lol.

Kudos on this, it's actually very cool, and doesn't even conflict with most (possibly any) other woodcutting modifications that for instance increase the amount of wood received or how long the player will continue chopping wood when ACTIVATING the wood chopping block. Most mods that alter these things do it by JUST changing the "resourcefurniture" script.

I saw one minor bug: The non-English name "Hakklotz" is still attached to the wood chopping block. I fixed this in about ten seconds in TES5Edit. Keeping this in my save game, and endorsed.

Seems you're right. Didn't think he would overwrite the dictionary name when just attaching a script to it.

There are other ways to prevent this like creating a quest and dynamically attaching scripts, using SKSE, etc. but that would just bloat the mod and my work.

I just wrote this when writing my own overhaul. Btw i noticed a lot of players didn't even know they can legally skip the mining animation with attacking ore veins

That is correct. It is used for the woodcutting blocks similar to those on the ore veins (just very short) and it won't conflict with the default furniture script in any way.

I think he's complaining about the fact your script is actually packed into a BSA when it's an original script (no chance of overwriting). This takes up more space in the top level of the skyrim/data folder which, without certain SKSE mod intervention (Safety Load), can cause game breaking bugs once there are too many top level items in that folder.
