Aye agreed. i was trying more stuff out myself. this has a minor fps hit but does look slightly superior still. all about choice really, many people can't be bothered tweaking excessively plus it still looks better imo :p. the other effects are nice.

Agreed raising the gamma to 1.5 with the ini achieves much of the desired effect. Sorts out the mistiness the game suffers from out the box.

Now that so many texture mods are out, I'm starting to prefer having post processing turned off with x16 anistropic filtering turned on. Graphical result is about even, perhaps a little less pretty, but the load times remain normal and the FPS is much smoother. (On my rig I've got to choose one or the other to stay over 25fps).

Adjust the brightness in-game or edit the mod file itself using notepad (gamma settings for example) - thats all i'd do personally.

Im suprised you asked tbh haha, i found the vanilla game way 2 bright at night as I like actual darkness at night. Seeing everything clear as day at midnight isnt very realistic . Good time to start using torches and magelight spells like i do now they actually are useful finally wheyy.

Could you please add a brighter version of this? I can hardly see anything in dungeons and most faces are unseeable at night or if they were wearing a hood.

2 notches down from default, only a minor decrease but it helps .

this is with no doubt the best settings on nexus in my opinion, at least for now. loved how the FXAA Post Process Injector mod gave your game a little more depth but with this mod it does looks more realistic and you actually dont feel you have to worry about developing epilepsy like unfortunately the fxaa ppi mod kinda did a little bit and people please c'mon... over 900 total downloads but only 7 endorsements so far?? i think there are a lot more than seven off 922 peoples that liked this mod and are now using it in their game, so give this playa what he deserves. an endorsement.. thanks for making a more realistic and more balanced look for my gaming experience (actually live in sweden an these settings look the most like the winter-time up in the northern part of this quite chilly and summer unfriendly country ). keep up the good work and i'll definitly will keep an eye out for more of your modifications during my personal improvement of this wondeful but sadly poor developed for pc game i also beg my pardon for possible grammar/spelling issues since english isnt my native language. take care you guys

    For me
fGamma=1.2 and fShadowBiasScale=0.35 did the trick...
