What's new in version 1.8 added 9 new books from eso morrowind I kept the same name for the file for easier update but rest assured they are different files In case anyone wants to convert my mod for SSE or translate it feel free to do so
thank you for making this mod. since i don't plan to play ESO but still love the lore of the series, it is nice to have access to many of the game's books. and the fact that they are limited to one area to find them outside of a few merchants, i think works well for the percieved lore, since the books likely "disappeared" from tamriel after the events of the game and falling out of print.
Horns of the Reach and Clockwork City DLCs are out now =p I didn't check and see if they add any books fitting for this mod, but I assume Clockwork City has a few appropriate books. Cheers!
Don't know if you're still working on this mod, but Summerset just came out, lots of book there, and still the ones in Clockwork city, if they have been made available online =)
Nice that I found this! and by accident. I was thinking about starting to familiar myself to the lore of TES and even started to play ESO the other day and I wanted to play it while reading most of the books but now I can do it in Skyrim too!!!
Hopefully this works with Requiem and the patcher in requiem can survive from this..
Edit: Well it was not compatible with Requiem but I made a patch so now it SHOULD work Was quite easy
Just out of curiosity would you consider collaborating with DanielCoffey (the author of Book Covers Skyrim) to make covers for these books? If he's up for it of course. It would be very interesting to see what you come up with. As well as making my bookshelves contents look even more awesome :)
I'd like to but unfortunately i don't have that much free time for this...the only thing i can do from time to time is add new books when they appear...but if he wants to do it by himself he has my permission
why don't you try to do it yourself?...I mean if you can play skyrim you have the hardware all you need is gimp (free but more difficult) or photoshop and blender. There are plenty of tutorials about how to make textures and objects it shouldn't take you more than a week to learn and after you make your first book the rest are a piece of cake it should't take you more than three weeks per total and you could learn some valuable skills too :)
I don't have a lot of time on my hands with the study I'm doing at the moment, & I also tried a while back to figure out how to retex things (was on a Bosmer playthrough & trying to make my furniture less...wooden) & discovered that I apparently fail dismally at such things lol so I thought I'd see if I can get someone that knows what they're doing to have a go, til I have the time & concentration span to tackle it again myself.
Edit: Went to the BCS page to leave the request but there's a sticky on it (see here: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/35399?tab=posts) that says he's neither playing nor modding Skyrim anymore & has moved on to other things, so I'd be just wasting time asking at this point, but he does give blanket permission to use his resources as long as he's credited on the page, so I'll just wait & have a crack at it at some point when I've got the time.
It's generally a bad idea to put the version numbers in the names of the .ESP-files themselves. Makes updating mid-playthrough a real pain in the behind. You may want to keep the filename the same for the next version ("ESO Books Complete 1_8" on the folder, "ESOBooksComplete1.7.esp" for the .esp-file in the folder).
Otherwise, a great mod. It's great to have access to all this lore in Skyrim.
added 8 new books that yuredew missed Knightsgrave: Legend or Legacy - the history of the Order of the Hour's first subterranean base. Cathedral Hierarchy - explains the different roles in the priesthood of Akatosh. Vazshara's Journal - what happened at the Maw of Lorkhaj? Full of potential mythic parallels. Riekr of Wrothgar: Observations - first hand account of Riekr society. Rise of the Red Sails - the early story of Fortunata ap Dugal and her pirates. The Mysterious Mermaid of Anvil - explores the potential origins of the statue. Gold Coast Goblin Tribes - overview of some Gold Coast goblin tribes, just like it says on the tin. The Blade of Woe - an assassin's observations on this mythical weapon.
Sorry for such a late answer I never made a list you can make your own at the imperial library https://www.imperial-library.info/ look for the Game Books tab

Is there a list of the books in this Mod available? I'm role playing a Book Thief who compulsively needs to know which books she does/doesn't have.
