Well, I like the option this gives. Makes a Nord especially still look like a Nord, rather than an anybody in a spiky outfit, and it remains lore friendly.
Yes, there are user made armours, but a lot don't form actual sets, thus making useless some of the perks.
Would be nice if it had the Studded Armor as a chestplate and the Steel Sword as the sword replacer. So we could look like the Dragonborn in the Trailers and still take a hit or two.
I've got another mod in the works that might partially help with that. It's basically Studded Armor versions of all other armors, so that you can Dragonborn it up through the whole game. There's probably already mods like that on the Nexus, though.

This is as superfluous as a boil on the ass! :-D
If you don't like the daedric armor, then don't use it. But a second iron armor is total nonsense.

Armour rating is the most obvious.
