Thank you all for the kind comments and I'm glad to be helpful with it! If you have any questions, ask away! I already replied to CODWAFFLE. He removed the Briarheart changes in the Unofficial Skyrim Patch. If you did something similar, reinstall it as well. NEVER remove something like that! My patch does fix this.
Also, I forgot something to mention on the frontpage: If you have a save where you're in a cell with a Briarheart already in it and install this patch, than you'll find him without body ingame after installing. This is NOT a bug. This Briarheart was already spawned and uses another id. Just kill him (with fire if you please) and when a new Briarheart will spawn at some point, it'll be the correct one with the fix applied. There is nothing I can do about that. If you're starting a new game, you'll never run into this problem ofcourse.
And last but not least, thanks everyone for the endorsements so far!
EDIT: A new version of the Unofficial Skyrim patch arrived today and I already did take a look at it. I didn't found anything to update my patch, meaning it's up-to-date with the latest unofficial patches.
EDIT 2: Wow! The patch reached the frontpage in the hot files. That's awesome! Don't forget to download the new version I just uploaded. I originally made the patch for the normal version of CoS. Now the patch has a sexy new installer and the "No Imperial" and "Player Only" versions included. Players with the player only version shouldn't have the Briar Heart bug at all btw. I've discovered that today. So, that version of the patch does nothing more than a very few minor changes and it adds the cool new cloak ofcourse.
UPDATE: The mod now supports the (new) Legendary Edition of the Unofficial Skyrim Patch!
I don't know if anyone's gonna see this, but I installed the file via NMM, and it didn't work. I made sure the ESP was activated, and I even tried a manual installation. What do I do now?
EDIT: I did some tinkering after I posted this and discovered that there was an undetected conflict between this mod and this one: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/64056. That mod installs and activates three ESP files: one that affects all Forsworn, one that affects all Forsworn and includes support for a female Briarheart mod, and a file that prevents Briarhearts from being affected. The file affecting all Forsworn NPCs conflicts with this mod, though I'm not sure whether this mod or that one is causing the conflict; I unticked that and the female Briarheart one, since I don't use that mod, and left the file excluding Briarhearts checked. Everything seemed to work fine at this point, though I should mention that a Briarheart I killed earlier still appeared to be broken; however, I did spawn some more Briarhearts and even used the resurrect command on the dead one, and all three were fixed - the loincloth dude finally put some pants on, heh. All things considered, I'd definitely recommend to anyone reading this to check out the linked mod if they like the Forsworn and want to expand on their barbarian aesthetic.
