Amazing! I wish I had found this mod before. It's the kind of mod that once in game doesn't look like a mod, but something that should have been there since the beggining. Good job on finding a problem that no one had noticed and fixing it ^_^

I would never have thought to look for something like this (found it looking for something else) - absolutely genius! I don't bother picking up empty soul gems.

Great modification like it very much, thank you.

Unfortunately plugin header is "broken" contains incorrect data numbers of records ( 808698 ) and file version 0.94, should be numbers of records ( 7 ) and file version 1.70.

    Repair is trivial.

Load the file to CK. (Wait for the file to load)
After loading the file, simply save it.

And so now CK does not return any errors.

Absolutely great, still works and makes soul gems actually visually show their nature and that they work

You should add Headbomb's Better Sorting mod to the incompatible list- it's not /exactly/ incompatible, but Better Sorting changes the name and not the texture, whereas this one changes the texture and not the name, so whichever one loads first is completely overridden by the one that loads last. In another words, you can either have the different name or the glowing, but not both.

Easy to fix via TES5Edit. Seriously, like 10 seconds not counting load time.

hmm, I was wondering why I was seeing no glowing. I also run with headbomb's Better Sorting mod ( http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/2730 ).

If this project is still active KSG - could you please consider making it compatible in some fashion?

    Thanks.

It won't be compatible with a mod that edits the same record or replaces the mesh files for the soul gem. The sorting mods are awful because they actually change the names of things....creating quite a compatibility mess just for the sake of sorting 'grouping.

Wonderful mod, works perfectly and simply. You can visually distinguish full from empty gems. I use this mod in conjunction with:

Smart Souls (SKSE plugin that traps souls smartly) and HD Soul Gems by Flicke (texture replacer)

Hello, I see the last comment was over a year ago. I was just wondering if anyone uses this currently without any problems with the current skyrim version and DLCs.

I think the Unofficial Skyrim Patch includes a version of Acquisitive Soul Gems. In that case it's not only compatible, it's also highly recommended. @Molni I'm glad you got your conflict sorted out.

For anyone still wondering: this mod is incompatible with Soul Gems Differ - Full and Empty. There's no way around it. We replace the same meshes and soul gem entries with our own versions. In fact, the first step of that mod's installation instructions is basically "delete Soul Gems Glow When Full". I believe Soul Gems Differ already makes the full gems glow. So if you're using that, my mod would be redundant anyway.

A really dedicated tweaker could replace that mod's nifs with mine, and then make the nifs point to the unique textures from that mod. It would look either great or terrible.

Just FYI, it looks like the Unofficial Skyrim Patch that was just released doesn't seem to work with this mod. You can find it here: http://forums.bethsoft.com/topic/1358353-beta-unofficial-skyrim-patch-thread-2/

Edit: It seems I was incorrect, I had another conflicting mod. Sorry!
