I followed the instructions exactly and it still didn't work. Just deleted a folder from my pc for no reason.

Thank you so much! I've been trying all sorts of different fixes before finding this one. It worked! Now NPC's aren't 'marked' or strangely glitched!

This absolutely fixed my problem and only issue I have been having with this game.
You are the best, and thank you for your dedication and service, sir.

2019 & I told myself it was just a skyrim war paint….LMAO000. All this time it was a bug....ahhh sigh... So I deleted the skyrim.esm & used the one in this download & boom! No more miscoloured forehead. Thanks lol umm....don't tell any one I thought it was a built in war paint.

I almost gave up with this but finally figured out and got it to work with Mod Organizer, so here it goes how I made it, if someone's still having problems:

    - Create a folder somewhere in your PC
    - Download and decompress all three mods in the Description
    - Unrar all of them in separate folders
    - Create a `Data` folder
    - Move the contents of both "Color Mismatch" mods into this data folder. Overwrite the folder name.
    - Drop files from "ApachiiSkyHair NPC Overhaul" in the same Data folder
    - In the Data folder you just created, navigate to textures/actors/character/FaceGenData/FaceTint and delete the Skyrim.esm folder
    - Download this mod and unrar somewhere
    - Navigate to textures/actors/character/FaceGenData/FaceTint and copy the Skyrim.esm from this mod and paste in the same place you deleted the previous one
    - Compress the Data folder entirelly and load it with Mod organizer

Done. Cool hair for npcs, but no more dark faces nor brown forehead. Thx skycatcher!

Thank you very, very, very, very, much!

Finally I can play without these ugly faces!

Tried this and sadly it doesn't work. Followed the directions to a t and still nothing. Looks like I'll just have to deal with some NPC's that look like they headbutted a horses chocolate starfish.

Does anyone know how to get these to work with the Bijin mods?

Not sure if you're still needing this but all I did was load Bijin after them and it works fine. I'm using Bijin all in one.

Works great in SSE (with the relevant oldrim mod & its additional fixes running). All I did was replace the Skyrim.esm folder, in the location specified in the description, with the one provided by this mod and everyone's faces are back to normal... but now with luxurious flowing locks!

I am still having the brown forehead issue. Did everything in the instructions.
I'm also trying to load the Creation Kit from Steam, but it shows it's loading, then nothing happens. Anyone else have a problem like this before? Very frustrating.

Also i have like 50-100 actors who are like this, do I really have to edit all of them?
