It's just a pity that the tint is too far from vanilla, at least for the gold... I didn't bother testing the other ingots because I am after gold and silver only, but I guess that this is a good work - not what I want but other people might like the difference in color.
Unfortunately for me, I wasn't able to use the normal maps on vanilla ingots because the meshes are incompatible, otherwise I would use it with vanilla texture to cope with the difference in tint/color tone
Very good looking ingots, but - all the ingots (apart from the moonstone, as far as I can tell), have some kind of weird cracks in the middle part, a bit horizontally. It's very visible when you turn the ingot around in your inventory, and you can also see the crack(s) in your screenshots here. Well, looks more like a deformity than a crack. Just wondered if you added that intentionally, and what the reason behind it was. I guess I would have preferred a smoother surface myself =p
Edit: I see you just copied the meshes from Mancer's texture pack, and they show that deformity as well. Guess that explains it then.
langley02: "Look please: http://... " This mod of HulkHogan is _not_ good. Some ingots are missing and there is a problem with the collision box of the meshes.
edit : ok I tried this mod and even to mix it with other ingots mods and everytime I had a problem with weird triangle bug-like differences of colors in the middle of the upper part of the ingots, I'm pretty sure it's coming from SMIM and/or this mod, for the dwarven ingot it's guaranteed SMIM
Hoo boy. I finally came across this mod and it's by far the best ingot textures around. Shame about the triangle mesh error.
I ended up forgoing the mesh files and simply used the textures without the normals. However, the gold, dwarven, and orichalcum I replaced with the textures over at https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/9912 because the textures for the ingots here don't work with the vanilla meshes. Actually I'm not sure about orichalcum but they looked better with the other mod.
As for iron and silver, the vanilla game hilariously swapped the texture files. Sooo, rename the silver to iron and iron to silver. I kept the normal for the silver texture, renamed to ingotiron01_n.dds though because the vanilla normal texture had a red hue.
All in all, they came out pretty well. My final folder has these files located in textures/clutter... ingotcorundum01.dds *ingotdwarven01.dds ingotebony01.dds *ingotgold01.dds **ingotiron01.dds **ingotiron01_n.dds ingotmoonstone01.dds ingotobsidian01.dds *ingotorichalcum01.dds ingotquicksilver01.dds **ingotsilver01.dds ingotsteel01.dds

I'm a little confuzzed. I've read through the mod's description, downloaded it, and I can't seem to figure out how exactly to make all ingots not have the dragon logo. Also, I think some others have had this issue too. Only for the gold ingot, the textures are all janky and sideways because of the original mesh. How do I make all ingots smooth without cracks or chips?
if you want the best looking ingots in skyrim (says me) 1) download http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/56538/? + http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/3524/? 2) uncompress Ingots & makers mark in two temporary folders 3) check your \skyrim\Data\meshes\dungeons\mines\ore folder if you already have those two files ingotdwarven.nif & ingotgold.nif keep them ! (I think SMIM uses them or another mod) 4) delete ingotdwarven.nif & ingotgold.nif from Ingots by langley temporary folder if necessary 5) copy ONLY the xxxxx_n.dds files from makers mark and overwrite the Ingots by langley ones result : http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/Images/602357/? if you have bug-like triangles on the upper side of the ingots after installing only ingots by langley (I had them for some reason maybe my ENB?) this trick will fix or hide the problem and give them a better "3d" look
how did you come up with that? Imma try this. Just have to figure out how to do it the proper way *ahem* You know.. using a decent mod manager... like... mod organizer ^_-
Sure, some ingots have serious cracks, but an ingot is only as smooth as its mold allows. Knowing about smelters and the kind of molds that were used in the middle ages should hint at ingots that aren't exactly perfect in shape.
Meshes are conflicting with USKP which fixed the collision problems
The collision radius on ore ingots has been reduced to help deal with floaters. (meshes\dungeons\mines\ore\ingotcorundum.nif, meshes\dungeons\mines\ore\ingotdwarven.nif, meshes\dungeons\mines\ore\ingotebony.nif, meshes\dungeons\mines\ore\ingotgold.nif, meshes\dungeons\mines\ore\ingotiron01.nif, meshes\dungeons\mines\ore\ingotmoonstone.nif, meshes\dungeons\mines\ore\ingotobsidian.nif, meshes\dungeons\mines\ore\ingotorichalcum.nif, meshes\dungeons\mines\ore\ingotquicksilver.nif, meshes\dungeons\mines\ore\ingotsilver.nif, meshes\dungeons\mines\ore\ingotsteel.nif) (Bug #13229)
Were meshes from this mod also fixed? Will textures work on vanilla meshes, potentially USKP meshes?
I do not know what is collision problems so I can not answer precisely. Meshes from here: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/3605/? It seems the author did not mention about collision.
Gold and dwarven ingots textures incompatible with vanilla or USKP meshes. All other compatible.

Meshes in mod no differences from original meshes in shape.
It seems there is a change in the form of ingots. And good texture.

Anyway, this is the best texture mod for ingots I found. Some of the others look soap. I was searching for something more realistic. Thanks!

totally missed that one until it was mentionned in another mod comments

This mod is, though. Perfect, I mean
