v 1.1 uploaded: Fixed the issue with Bucephalus going away from the player - from now on he will follow you, and in case you get another horse he will wait you on the location you leaved him.
I hope you don't mind me commenting on your sticky but i would like to share with others how to disable the hdt on the tail. (@Fuse00 you can follow my instructions and provide the file as an optional download)
All you need to do is replace the xml in the mod directory with an empty xml Go to meshes > warhorse > whnew.xml (backup this file somewhere and replace with an empty xml)
Now i will explain how to create your own empty xml Open notepad and paste the following lines
<?xml version="1.0" ?> <metadata> </metadata>
click file, save as change the file type to "all files" then name the file whnew.xml and save it to the directory of the old file you would like to replace
To those who have problems with the horse being invisible: Try to locate Bucephalus by walking around and listening at the campsite, once you bump into him you can carry on. Make sure you're in first person so you can see his name if hovered over! Go into the console via pressing "~" underneath escape Click on Bucephalus Type "disable" and, without closing the console, type "enable" This should fix him right up! If this does not work, then I recommend making sure you clicked on him. It'll be easier if you have Mfg Console https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/44596/? If it still does not work then best try to put his ESP lower in your load order, or even removing the HDT physics entirely.
I'm having very strange glitches.. His hdt tail is stuck in the ground and goes on forever, plus he now blinks a few times before becoming entirely invisible. How do I fix this? I have HDT Physics and SKSE, but it still keeps happening. Also, when I get near where Bucephaelus is aka by the dungeon nearby, my whole game crashes.
I feel stupid, where is he? I found a tent with a Penitus Oculatus Agent, but am I in the right place? He doesn't have a journal and after I loot him no horse appears. Is it because there is already a horse with me?
I have the same issue 3 years later x) the fact is that he is just invisible, as far as I ride it without want it XD in all these years, have you found the solution please?
