If you aren't running an epic PC, and really even if you are, make sure you're using the following four things.
The latest SKSE: Make sure you're using Sheson's memory patch by adding the following lines to skyrim/data/skse/skse.ini (which you may have to create; the 768 can be increased to 1024 if needed, but should do fine.). [Memory] DefaultHeapInitialAllocMB=768 ScrapHeapSizeMB=256
HiAlgoBoost or ENB with ENBoost: Your call, they're both awesome at what they do and each works a little differently. You can actually use both, with an older version of ENBoost (though I have no evidence that this works better) XD

- Safety Load.
With these tools, you should have an even smoother, fairly crash-free Skyrim experience. ^^[Memory]
