After some touch and go since the Skyrim Special Edition release, I’ve decided to hang up my modding hat on Skyrim. I have enjoyed the game immensely over the years but my interests have since moved on.
All of my mods that I am the SOLE author of that use OPEN assets are open to anyone wanting to translate, edit, pick apart, derive, fix, patch, release to other sites, and port to any system/platform SO LONG AS THE FILES ARE NOT BEING SOLD UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE FOR ANY TYPE OF CURRENCY. All I ask is that I am credited as the creator of the original mod. If I am not the sole author of a mod or the mod uses assets that require permission from another author, you MUST contact them for written permission to perform any of the above actions.
Feel free to PM me with questions. I will occasionally lurk the site and answer questions on my mod pages as well.
so if baskets now add 5 carry weight, but still weigh 0.5, then that's a net carry weight of +4.5 per basket...
lets see.... 4.5x10=45 4.5x100=450 4.5x1000=4500
im not sure how many baskets there are in the game, but i'd imagine it'd take a lot of work just to find and collect 100, let alone 1000... so honestly i feel like this isnt *TOO* overpowered... just about right actually.
I can't believe no one thought of this before, I really can't, add a file which stops it from stacking at five or so, change the name to immersive baskets, and it'd become the most endorsed mod on the nexus! In all seriousness though, this is my favourite type of mod, it adds something simple but really effective. If only it weren't so overpowered.
Hehe, you can always just not pick them up. I could add a second option with some code to give it a hard cap...I'll think about it. No promises (this was a 'just for fun' mod after all).
Why did you call it a joke mod? It's actually a nice, realistic touch.
I still can't stomach the thought of picking up baskets - and I primarily play magic characters so carry weight isn't an issue - but this is a good idea.
O.O Is this a joke mod or a serious mod, i can't tell. Must be the type that straddles the line on both. (they need to add a category called joke mod.)
Squashy is a little confused,( as usual),... Does he pick them up and carry them in his backpack, or... does he have to wear them on his head, to get the extra carry-weight?? If he has to wear them, how do they 'stack'?? (Vertically or, like Matryoshka Nesting Dolls; ['russian-dolls']?) If they stack vertically, what happens in a strong wind??? Inquisitive minds need to know!
*Squashy tosses the basket he just picked up, shakes his head and wanders into the Tavern for a much needed bottle of 'FireBrand'..*
Seeing this gave me a pretty good laugh. So if I install this, I can then go and pick up 50 baskets and have 250 extra carry weight? And I thought Bandolier was a bit OP!
