might be a BIT late, but in case anyone else stumbles across the same problem: it's likely something overwrites the changes of this mod. Make sure you have the .esp of hunting in skyrim and this one loaded after all other perk modifying mods and you should be good to go.
Longbow were quite ineffective against plate armor (> 1mm of steel) even if it was a direct hit at medium/close range and with a perforing head. But several hits could crippled some less protected limb or hit a default in armour.
But who care ? it's a game. And bow in Skyrim are a little underpowered.
I'm surprised people find the bow and archery underpowered to start with :S High archery and high sneak and you basically clear everything without discovered and damn quickly. Still.. good work.
Basicly that's how I started. But after a few hundred hours, meanwhile lvl 115, several difficulty mods, including Deadly Dragons and Path of shadows (which makes sneaking way more realistic (got boring after reaching 100+)) it just doesn't felt right anymore and I remembered the start, where you had a hard time if you can't sneak up (or didn't want to) And since I don't think that "moar damage" is the answer to those issues, I tried another approach.
I like the sound of this, but I don't fancy the Hunting In Skyrim mod.. Can this be made to use without? Or can you or anyone recommend another mod that will?? Ta

I'll try it. Thanks for uploading it.
