Im still not able to intimidate Gulum-ei, and my speech is at 185, I have the Intimidation perk, im wearing full daedric armor and the amulet of articulation, and I edited Gulum ei's level and speechcraft to one, and his confidence to 0. What in the god damned hell is going on here???
This mod doesn't make Persuasion any better, in fact it breaks the perk entirely and makes it do nothing. Taking 2 minutes to test the mod in-game would have shown that, and to be perfectly honest I don't understand why you thought the change you made would do something. No offense meant, just wanted to let you know.
OMG thank you i nearly spent an hour looking for a disenchantable Amulet of Articulation or ANYTHING that would make my character more persuasive thanks so much i will endorse as soon as it lets me lol
FINALLY & THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been looking for a mod like this forever! I have my speechcraft skill above 100 along with the intimidation perk but everytime a met a thief I would use intimidation but would always fail. THANKS OHH SO MUCH!!!. With your mod, when I met a random thief they are properly intimidated a back away. I still have yet to try it on the guard at Riften when I first arrive there or the Bandit I always meet when I'm with Delphine on the way to Kynegrove, but so far I am very grateful, happy and content with what has worked so far. Thanks again! :_)[that's a smily face with a very happy tear drop, for anyone who curious or thought I hit an extra button.]
Since I have yet to learn how to mod/have time to watch tutorial videos on the creation kit I wanna say as a "mod user who aspires to be a mod creator" Thank You Oh So Much Again!!!
Which is completely pointless and I'm not sure why they even give you the option to pick intimidate in those cases if it's destined to not work anyway.
I guess the always fail intimidate is there for immersion purposes. You might be playing a rather aggressive character. That's of course doesn't mean that your intimidation will always work.
Could be one of those times where your character might want to try talking their way out of it, but it shows that you just can't.

Edit: I should add that they always work with the relevant perk and skill level.
