I love that lute music! Is it lute or mandolin or similar? Is it available as a modder resource? or a recording or sheet music so I can record my own? I'm a modder and musician. Also, looking at the file, looks like it replaces the vanilla lute, is that the case or is it standalone? Because the texture has same name and file structure as vanilla.
It shouldn't man, its named differently plus I haven't edited anything in the GECK about it. Which lute music man? If your talking about that guys video intro its definitely not a lute, a lute sounds more nylon than steel, and a mandolin sounds more sharp and high pitched.. Its probably a nylon playing the lead and a steel playing the chords... FYI- To detect a lute listen to strings, since theres 2 for each note you can either hear 2 octaves apart or simply a 'fuller' sound since theres 2 And you don't need sheet music man, its just skyrim in standard Am, with the same chords but a little funkier
This definitely does replace the default lute's texture, though it was easy enough to fix with NifScope. Awesome mod otherwise, and perfect for my bard.
I would say Skyrim lutes are less "space age" than simply more lyre-like, but that is semantics. Mute lute types = better, and more WEARABLE lute types = excellent for bard characters!
Nice enchantment effect. I will likely add "Persuasion attempts are easier" perk, in my game. Nvr would have thought of this if you had not had an enchantment, and I already have the vanilla lute wearing mod.
Yeah I know what you mean man But then again Ive never seen a red and yellow lute, accept for the OUDs from Egypt haha! I'm thinking of scaling down the lute to a bit smaller (as an optional file) , what do you think?

it's just a western guitar. Recorded in my living room. Like the mod author said, I don't use sheets. The Skyrim theme isn't that hard to figure out.

Can I ask what animation mod you used in the screenshots to play the lute as well?
