Its a character overhaul for all NPCs it seems, I will remove facegen parts from my mod, you will need to delete nif, dds and tga files from my mod if you extracted it to your Data folder already in order to remove possible conflicts with the mod you linked:

I think its Immersion Breaking for me to become one without even knowing what it is i become, plus it could break the Game when the part of the Quest comes for me to actually choos to be a Vampire or not.
My mod does not affect her gift of vampirism in any way, it is strange that she offers it in Dimhollow Crypt, she shouldnt, if that is the case it is likely a bug in something or a mod conflict. I didnt forget about the mod, just real life is in the way of my modding at the moment.
i am very surprised most there aren't many downloads for this particular Serana version
unlike the anime,slooty and beautiful versions of her this one makes her 'normal' in a sense by having her being portrayed as a woman instead of the various versions you see on the nexus.
I will give this one my endorsement and this one needs to be moved up
Thanks, glad to hear you like it I agree with you on the anime and the overbeautified versions, most people like good looking companions but often people go over the top and followers end up looking like they are from another game and they stick out too much from other NPCs, but that is their right I guess. A "regular" looking Serana like this one probably wont get too much attention, doesnt have enough eye candy.
Very true, also may i make a suggestion? if you do an update please have the ability to have Serana level up AFTER you meet her. Majority of the Skyrim gamers have already played Dawnguard DLC, and also if you have the ability do a "Skyrim Mod video" feature your mod on YouTube that way future Skyrim gamers or Skyrim gamers who haven't played Dawnguard yet are aware of your mod you will get more attention that way as well.

Yes, that is correct Darth Sidious, by having an update file with the ability to have Serana level up properly after meeting her. It will increase your endorsements and downloads a lot more
I will check it, I believe the problem is the Serana's leveling script that Dawnguard uses, I will have to try editing that script to match the new spells I gave her.
If you know something about modeling, maybe you can try replicating this sword (https://darksword-armory.com/products-page/medieval-swords/the-carpathian-sword-1333/) and make a one-handed version of it? Because I don't really see vampires using katanas...
Unfortunately I have no experience at modeling. Why I like katanas for vampires in Skyrim is because they are sleek and elegant looking, other swords look really bulky and ruin the elegance of a vampire, ebony sword being perhaps the only exception, and Harkon wields a katana as well With all the weapon mods for Skyrim here I am sure everyone can find a sword that fits their character or followers perfectly. Dread Knight weapons are great for evil characters.
Interesting. Most interpretation's of Serana i have seen so far make her look too young, nice to see a different approach make her look like a woman. I am too far into my current Dawnguard playthrough to use a mod that changes her but i will download and give this overhaul a try on a previous save. For appearance the only mod i have used that changes Serana so far is Seranafangs, I dont know why she didnt have them in the first place.
As for her combat ability i like the mod Queen Of The Damned Deadlier Serana, it much improves her overall powers considerably, similar to the Vampire Lord without changing form. The Vanilla Serana was never quite as powerful as i imagined a Daughter Of Coldharbour would be, i always wondered how long Serana had been a Vampire before Valerica sealed her up in Dimhollow Crypt.... Surely time would have made her more formidable as a member of the undead ?..
Still enjoying your other work. I am building Windstad Manor in Morthal's swamps to move Morinth and Lucy into. so far i have made Eola, (my Skyrim equivalent of Dracula,s Renfield) the Steward and it has a roof... Finally i can leave Movarth's lair...
Seranafangs is a good mod, Bethesda probably though it was better for Harkon, Valerica and Serana to look more human without vampire fangs but that is kind of lame. Havent checked Queen Of The Damned Deadlier Serana, I will see what it gives her but this Serana is definitely more powerful than the vanilla one, I agree that time should make Serana more powerful, she should be an apex vampire, as she received vampirism directly from Molag Bal, yet she is not that powerful in combat.
It is a bit difficult to give just enough powers to a follower, some people will always complain that the follower is overpowered if it packs more punch than vanilla followers, maybe if different versions are made everyone could be satisfied.
I congratulate you on the patience for building Hearthfire manors, its a very slow process I dont enjoy much For most of my characters I prefer Proudspire Manor, there is a modded version that expands it and makes it worth the price.
As for vampire lord powers, I could convert those abilities into spells, add some other new vampiric/necromancy spells, and make them available for purchase through a new merchant in Castle Volkihar, if that turns out alright I might add a few more vampiric followers to Castle Volkihar, each in a different class like heavy melee, assassin, mage etc. Make the castle more lively and useful, it is strange that none of the vampires in Castle Volkihar can be recruited, you only get Serana and that is it.
Isnt he the coolest Sith Lord in Star Wars? You gave me a idea with your comment, I already have a vampire follower that requires DLCs, I might make one for vanilla Skyrim
