Generally speaking, human males are naturally larger than human females. Nords, Redguards and Imperials are clearly meant to be straight-up humans instead of humanoids. Realistically, male Nords/Redguards/Imperials would be generally taller than females. This isn't a "stereotype," you dumbass. Gender equality doesn't make women as tall as men. You have no idea what you're talking about.
Even if the OP was correct, such height variations occur in a species in the early part of the evolution cycle. In modern society there is no 'battling' for a mate yet women tend to be shorter and physically smaller than men. How can pointing out an obvious fact be a gender bias?!? The OP needs to get down off his soap box and realize this is just a game.
I know this is old but I'd like to point out that the larger size of men has nothing to do with fighting over a mate. We're larger because in hunter / gatherer times we were the hunters. We needed to be stronger and more durable.
As far as simple height is concerned, anthropologically, you are correct...sort of. Increased height has been theorized to be a factor in ATTRACTING a mate. Not combating some other guy over the girl, but impressing her.
People really need to do research before making statements like this. Human society has always been more complex than "Ug-mug beat Zug-mug and take girl!".
no I don't think so. Mine seemed to retain his same height even with the mod. Just use the "player.setscale" command if your character feels out of place
yeah, I know they aren't meant to be tall but I had to increase their height as well or they'll appear much smaller compared to the other taller races.
