This is what i was looking for, however, can we get a version with only wolfs encountered enemies if possible. according to the guy at the bottom, that was the only enemy there.
Would it be possible for you to make an NMM-friendly version? The computer I play Skyrim on lacks winzip, and last time we tried getting it, we got a very nasty virus instead.
I guess many people have better attention spans or focus, because after I inform Jarl Balgruuf that Riverwood needs guards, I just start wandering Skyrim and adventuring. Seems almost weird to me that people would make it here at such low levels that the journey is gruelling. I'll probably add this to my load order though once I get my new PC - it's a cool concept, and paired with Frostfall it seems a logical one too.
Does the mod work by changing the spawn spots to Initially Disabled (iirc, I think that is the wording), or does it delete the spawn spots? I think the former would be safer, from a mod compatibility perspective.
If it does delete them, TESVEdit can set them to be disabled instead, thus ensuring compatibility with anything that may use the spawn points in this area.
Wasn't the 7000 steps supposed to be the hardest trail in skyrim? If its just walking you'd be done soon, I like the challenge of some frost trolls and snowcat's ambushing me . Oh well, everyone has their preference
I guess so. I mean I think it's supposed to be hard because of the cold and length of it. It's basically Mount Everest, but obviously scaled down to fit in the game. I hardly think that Klimmek delivers supplies all the time with the bears and frost trolls everywhere, but like you said, to each their own.
Yeah I run it with Frostfall too. I think that's how it was meant to be, sorta. It's an endurance and perseverance test, not a brute force test (that's what the dragons are for! ). So this mod is an absolute godsend. I can role play my peaceful way up the mountain, and rest for the night with my Frostfall so I don't freeze to death. ^_^
Well, adept difficulty, right after the dragon kill at the guard tower. Had full steel gear with a 2h steel axe, he ate Lydia under seconds, then the troll 5 hited me.
I just kicked the bear in the snout and then made him give me a ride to the top.
In all seriousness though, I think you are on the right track with this mod. Having monsters attack you while walking what is essentially a park pathway is a little ludicrous.
Gotta laugh at all the folks who got owned by the frost troll down there in the comments. Having read my SunTzu, I know better than follow a trail, instead opting for the more difficult high ground just off the beaten path. I saw that troll a mile away before he ever got a whiff of me. Had 3 arrows in him before he jumped off his ledge to come after me.
When I originally got Skyrim, it was near release and on 360.
I had no idea what I was in for. I headed straight there after the first dragon fight.
I died 20 times -- I counted -- before I was finally able to get it to glitch into a rock and let me slowly... slowly... pummel it to death with my iron mace.
Wow. You're right....just...wow. I feel stupid. Interesting NPC's. It's way too late for me to be doing this. I have to change this immediately. Thanks!

Not sure about the bears, snowcats and frost trolls though.
Maybe since last time Klimmek went up, a frost troll had made it's home there.

Question real quick though. What is Immersive NPCs? Like.. Immersive NPCs in the Dark? Or did you mean Interesting NPCs?
