I love the quality of these textures, but so many of them are peppered with holes so that you can see through the meshes, like moths have been chewing at the clothes in every wardrobe in Skyrim. It kinda bugs me.

You sure you're not just using a whole lot of clothing MESHES that are clipping? I do not see this problem with these textures in my game...

I do tend to use CBBE outfits, so maybe the problem is exacerbated because the whole body is visible underneath clothing meshes. However, I've taken a close look at these textures in both GIMP and Photoshop and the diffuse maps are definitely pin-pricked with empty pixels. Vanilla outfits are a single model and there is typically no naked body underneath, so such holes would be easily disguised by in-game shadows.

As I learn more about modding, I've been spending a lot of time looking very closely at these sort of details, so now it stands out to me. =/

If you're using CBBE, you'll need CBBE-compatible meshes. Try Caliente's Vanilla Outfits.

The Bethesda HD clothes are actually quite good. The torso diffuse and bump maps are 2K, whereas this mod is 1K diffuse and vanilla .5K bumps. The Bethesda textures have a fine fine thread, whereas this mod, even the Fine weave version, has thicker threads. If a person has limited VRam or a lot of other 2K textures, this is a good choice though for texture replacers, since the PC is unlikely to be wearing normal clothes.

I really like what you've done here, the clothes look really nice.
I'm also not a big fan of blowing everything up to 4K just for the sake of it but I usually like higher res armor/clothing simply because I'm looking at my arms/hands for a long time and having "blurry" arms really kills the mood for me :<

Since I'm currently using a master-level robe I'm switching yours out for a "pimped" version.

    Tl;dr:
    Keep up the good work

Very nice, thank you. Using the fine weave and they look lovely. I'm using the EotW Mage Robes of Skyrim so I just removed those from your selection. It's so nice to have all of the clothing on the same level. I also found that the Improved NPC Clothing includes emperor, executioner, and the dark brotherhood robe, so I'm using those as supplemental until you add them (which I'm assuming isn't likely as this mod is two years old at this point).

Thanks again for this great work.

I remember when I had first seen this mod not so long after it first came out. Still a fantastic addition to the community so long later. Good job = )
