i didnt see what addition this was for posted anywhere but i am running SE and i couldnt load my game after installing this mod. i assume it's incompatible and that is the reason. if you have one that works for SE i would be really excited to have it. thank you
Would love to see this exact mod ported to SE (AE 1.6+). So many different versions and variations of this kind of spell and ability, but this specific one seems to do it the best. Looks so clean.
Anyone have the console command for the book? Not spawning in for three different saves. So many comments saying "use the command" or "check my vid" and none of them have it, how hard is it to be direct?
EDIT: Spell Tome ID is 18000D6F. Command line should read "player.additem 18000D6F 1". Found this using the "help: <item>" command I learned 20 minutes ago. For everyone that replied "just use the command," f*** you and I hope your saves get corrupted. This released in 2014 and it took 8 years to get an answer posted.
AWESOME LUV THIS MOD!! :) Only thing i can think of adding is being able to go farther, like a lot farther LOL I also like that u made it a spell and a power, very nice :) TY
Welp, I've had several requests to share my version of this mod in which I've managed to make this totally silenced. Unfortunately, Madrilous hasn't yet responded to my request for post, and I'm still unwilling to share an esp without his/her express consent.
However, I'm going to write up here how to do this modification yourself using Tes5Edit. You need to know the basics of working with Tes5Edit in order to do this, but that's not too hard - it only takes half an hour or so to learn.
I have taken screenshots in Tes5Edit of a side by side comparison between the original (Madrilous) mod, and my own. I have then marked the key differences (not all differences shown by Tes5Edit are relevant) with red boxes - you only need to change those values. Basically, if you download his mod, you should find the values in the left column in my screenshots - you want to make them look like the ones in the right column (which shows my mod values).
You can see the gallery here: as you can see, I have modified settings for the activator, explosion, magic effect (only one) and projectile:
Thank you so much!!! I've always loved this spell, and can't bring myself to play without it. It's just so useful! Yet it irked how I couldn't play a proper Dishonored recreation character because it didn't allow me to blink behind enemies and kill them stealthily. But... now, thanks to your tinkering I can. :D
Hey bro can you tell me one thing... in your screenshots, you have 2 standalone blink esps activated, why is this? I can get Skyrim to launch but it is crashing at starting screen when I am trying to run this mod. Understandable if you can't answer.
The first one is just the original mod. The second is the new version I created - they're just for comparison so that you can easily see what to change.
Thank you so much for this perfect mod. All other mods like this have bad animations and no sound and it makes the spell seem too fast and glitchy or too slow and boring. This mod is perfect however. The sound was exactly what I was looking for and the animation is perfect.
I was even able to port this to SSE quite easily. Thank you thank you thank you :D
P.S. I enjoyed finding the spell it wasn't too hard to find if you follow the directions and the screenshots. Its really satisfying when you do find it.
a daft place to put a spell book, you can't drop down from anywhere, its impossible to get to it, why don't you change to location where you can drop down on to it.
