Finally got to visit Whiterun to see the dogs. I saw the dogs patrolling with their owners. Pretty cute heheh. I'll try to take pictures with Schmooples later.

- edit: I found Ysolda in the marketplace but I couldn't find Schmooples anywhere. o_o All the other dogs are there. Futhark keeps barking at the well, etc. Maybe Schmooples is stuck in Ysolda's home or something?
-edit2: Found a minor bug too. Because Balgruuf's wolfdog is so big it seems to be blocking navigation for the NPCs there, which is important during the main quest when you go to see Balgruuf the first time. Irileth gets stuck and so does Balgruuf when he goes to lead you to Farengar. Probably related to how followers position themselves awkwardly during follow packages.
I ran into that too. It seems that they don't follow them right away. Once they've gone into their houses for the night and then come back out, they should start following them. It's something to do with the follow package. :/

I think they're called Dogs of Skyrim and Pets of Skyrim. I would not have uploaded if I had known about these earlier.
Cool, thanks. I'll try it out later and give my feedback. I still have saves from before I enter Whiterun so I should be able to watch that storyline scene again.
- edit: Yup, seems to have fixed it. Summer is now spaced more naturally instead of snarling angrily at Balgruuf at close range. Also not blocking Irileth when she draws her sword to scare me off or Balgruuf anymore as he tries to walk me to Farengar.
- edit2: Went outside to look for Ysolda and Schmooples is there tailing her now heheh. Looks like all is well with this mod.
Apparently they got a sitting animation and I'm sure I've seen them lie down, perhaps you could change the wolves to have these animations and then rename them to the corresponding dog animation name? Or maybe all that is needed is to make them be wolves from scratch and simply add them to all the goodguy factions. They'd probably run around or leave whiterun but you never know.
isn't there a mod that overhaul all the world of skyrim with dogs and cats? like dogs of skyrim, and sky test and such? how is this mod any different then?

Well, I don't know anything about that mod, but Mine just adds a few uniquely named dogs,wolves and a fox to Whiterun. A few of them follow other NPCs or just wander around. I made it to add immersion since I was always bothered by how there were no dogs in most cities and since I started using the sounds of Skyrim mod, I needed to fix that.
I know, it's a horse. I couldn't find a decent and large enough Whiterun banner to photoshop the dog into so I used the shield to represent Whiterun. Since the mod's based in Whiterun.

I would love to see a stand alone Wuuthrad wolf mod.
Is it possible to make Wuuthrad wander Jorrvaskr's training yard and back porch? I imagine a partially domesticated wolf would rather be outdoors.

LOL, on the Whiterun shield but is not a dog, rather, a horse or a goats buck.
