This came out excellent when I overwrote some of the files with Female Facial Animation. Had a problem of NPCs not moving their lips and Female Facial Animation fixed that.
Well the mod certainly did what it said, higher poly count and very smooth edging. Smooth enough to be easily noticeable at first glace and if you've been working on a pc for a while, you'll be very happyish. Why happyish? Compromises are required, in my experience a lot of sliders stopped working, the mouth type in particular was annoying but so be it, also had to play with eyes and brows and expressions to get a balance. I'm not completely sure if the character I ended up with was the character I designed..... but the finished product is really good, the edges are smooth, the nose the chin area, man this mod is like.... that close to being it, the one we all need and can't live without. GRRRR. Basket0101...Come back to this and work it .
I'm writing this right after leaving the racemenu screen, so I don't what negative effects if any it had on the lips sync (if any) etc.
I uploaded some pics, doubt the author will post them, but you never know so I'll wait a few days and then post them on the general Nexus pic pool with proper headings so for those of you reading this, you'll know which pics use this mod.
killgore in a few posts below wrote " so close to be the must-have mod for skyrim " he/she is absolutely right. As for the sunken eyes, you've got to play with the sliders till it works.
You've done a great amount of work to increase the polygon count but keep the faces like vanilla, but they are a little strange - as if a lot of sliders have been adjusted somewhere in between. Still, this is a great mod, and should've gotten more attention (perhaps having the before & after shots wrong might be why it didn't).
Oh, how I wish I could get this to work with my other mods! For some reason, the only way I can get the head mesh to work right is if I let it overwrite EVERYTHING, but even then, it cancels out my eye mods and makes the eyelashes sink deep into their eyelids... looking like something sucked the eyeballs right out of their heads! EEEK!!!
Needs work, but has potential.
What a teaser. Really got my hopes up, yanked out a dozen other mods trying to get this to work right. Such a shame!
+1 this mod finally made the faces look less like low poly square and much better looking females BUT... same problem here, their eybrows disappear behind their forhead and give them weird eyes...so close to be the must-have mod for skyrim
Nice, I like it. It just makes the face smoother and rounder, like if the head has more polygons (which is probably the case), while mostly maintaining the look of the vanilla face. And that's why I didn't like CITRUS so much, because CITRUS changes the look and shape of the face quite a lot, and then my characters face doesn't look like the face that I designed at character creation anymore.
Of course with this mod the face also changes slightly, the Vanilla faces look "sharper" and "skinnier" because of all the polygon edges. With the smoother faces of this mod, the faces unevitabley become rounder and fuller.
I will endorse once the nexus lets me.
BTW in the pictures it seems the author mixed up "before" and "after"
One of your files makes affects the mouth movement on some npcs when the talk. They don't move their mouth at all and I want it fixed. This mod messes up every custom race that I use like the Lunari and Temptest are greatly effected and not the only ones he mentioned.
Someone REALLY needs to make something like this for ECE. It looks beautiful but I prefer ECE over RaceMenu. The ECE morphs in RaceMenu never seem to look right and overall I like ECE's simple and clean look. The blocky-chin head mesh is killing me though. :/

Y si lo hacés funcionar con Ningheim, mejor
Yeah... Just wait a little bit more.
But please keep working.
