Added version 1.5 which corrects the player bed not giving the "Well Rested" bonus. It now gives the bonus. Also added two chairs upstairs by the fireplace, and added a fireplace in the basement to give warmth while crafting. NON-GS only at this point.
Added version 1.4 which adds a smelter and removed the GS requirement for the NON-GS version.
Added version 1.3 which includes some minor fixes.
Fixed lighting issues. Should be a little brighter on the inside. I noticed was a little dark inside when using the Realistic Nights mod http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/49472/?.
Fixed the interior door where you no longer see two doors when exiting. Fixed the texture flickering due to two objects overlapping on the main floor. Added a shrine of Talos.

Updated to V 1.1 The General Stores scripts have been removed from the file so the GS version should now work properly. I also added a NON-GS version as well.
Updated to v1.2. I have added a stable just South of the house, so your mount will no longer get between you and the door when you fast travel. I added a goat pen with three goats in the back for those that have the milking add-on. The entryway also has the appropriate door.

A little late (about a year!) but just two details that keep this from perfection: a) Smelter? Has it been eaten by a goat? b) Non-GS Version is still marked as needing GS (i.e. "The author of this mod ... needs GS ... Universe will explode ..." etc. ) (It doesn't - i checked)
Goats will eat anything they can find, so it is possible. Not sure why I never finished that, but will make it happen. Will look at the non-gs version and correct that.
Thanks for this tidy starter house with some decent loot inside. Great idea to have a pen of goats in the back garden as well, who doesn't love goats? Makes a pleasant change from cows and chickens!
Can add Talos as well. Also working on a new abode/outpost named for Talos. Hopefully I will have it up soon. First I need to get the guard routines and nav-meshes squared away.
Thank you for your mod! It's one of my favorite houses. It's iooks very authentical, but contains all necessary (and this necessities are good composed). And without all that excessive stuff, another modmakers like to fill all free space.
But I met some issues 1) The door. When I open it, I see... one more door. Is it bug? As for me I consider it's a nice feature. Second door is very useful in everwinter Dawnstar for warm-saving. I'm from Russia, and I now what "winter" really means So, even if it's a bug don't remove it) 2) A narrow board in wooden wall on the ground floor. It's... shaking or smthng. Looks like texture problem.
Hey there! Just wanted to say thank you for this great mod. I was looking for a player home near Dawnstar that isn't like a mansion or an entire castle like most player home mods are. This is exactly what I was looking for so I'm happy to have found it. Thanks a lot.
I think you can add AFT and FLP as compatible because I use them and usually have 2-3 followers all the time (2 is usually only when I go to get another) I have EARTH DRAGONS mod and I have had as many as 4 Dragons drop down on me at once the one regular and then 1 or 2 or a rare 3rd after the fight starts. if it starts with an Earth Dragon there is always 2 at the start, wicked fun if you decide to try this be sure YOU kill the last dragon FIRST and let you followers pound the junk outta the others until you get the last one DEAD I also have the mod MORE DRAGON LOOT and it lives up to it. anyway the girls have NO PROBLEM at all going anywhere (they won't leave me alone and that is NOT a complaint anyway and they idle just fine up stairs or down. so where will the next home be? I got a few spots if you can't think of one and I don't mean the one on my back, that is a birth mark, I know what it looks like but it isn't
Outstanding! I figured if EFF worked, the rest should. But one never knows. Currently working on an underground home in the same area. Was thinking about making it HF (and maybe multiple adoption and/or Storefront) compatible. This one would not be free though. Just need to decide which would be the best method of obtaining the house; and there are so many to choose from.
Big fan of OBIS + SoT with Deadly Dragons, DCO, CWO and Truly Undead - Reborn. That combination can be very frustrating at times.
