i love this one, merging it with JK's whiterun makes whiterun look awsome, only thing i found fault was the dark brown, it could be lighter or you can do a lighter version just for an option, but all in all this has to be one of the best retexture whiterun mods, please do other cities and villages.
For the longest time- years- I've been using Sexy Whiterun. While I like the whole "Sexy" series, I always found Whiterun just a tiny bit garish. That was actually okay, I like the game having more color, but the problem is that BECAUSE I like having more color I use the Imaginator mod to bump up my saturation. As a result, the majority of my game looks really good but Whiterun wound up looking something like a circus.
On a whim I decided to look for alternative Whiterun retextures and decided upon this one. Right off the bat, I love the Earthy browns and tans. However, I thought that there was now a little less color than I'd like. So, I did some combining: First I installed this mod, and then I went back to my Sexy Whiterun file and installed ONLY the brick road textures from that mod (wrstone02 I believe, just two simple files). Then I downloaded the optional red roofs for Sexy Whiterun and applied those as well. PERFECT! Now I've got the pretty but more reserved retexturing from this mod, coupled with the brick road and red roofs from Sexy Solitude. They complement each other awesomely, making Whiterun neither too bland nor too obnoxious even with my saturation boosted where I want it. The city looks good, the nearby stables and farmhouses look good, everything looks good. I'm very happy.

Second: not everybody need hight textures, sometimes low look better than hight and not everybody have super computer.
