First off, ENDORSED because this mod is beautiful. Really excellent and down-right gorgeous work! I switched the texture files for the lesser and petty soul gems by re-naming their respective texture files because I felt the lowest quality soul gem shouldn't be as vibrant as the next gem up, and it worked flawlessly. I became aware while trying to use Gimp to change the soul gem hues to all be slightly different that several of them use the same texture file, so I have no idea how you were able to make all the gems below "greater" quality different colors. Could it be that each gem that shares a common texture file takes it's textures from a different part of the same image, and you were able to get different colors by coloring different parts of the common texture file and observing which parts on which gems changed? Or was it achieved with some other method? I would very much like to know how, since the only thing that would make this mod absolutely perfect would be different colors for greater and grand gems, which currently look identical except for shape. If you ever see this message, please PM me with an answer about your method, because I could then get pointed in the right direction to do it myself. I am planning to give the greater gem a slightly different hue. So far however, this is far and away the best soul gem mod out there! Thanks!
Edit: Looks like I was correct about the greater and grand gems using different parts of the same image for their textures. I colored half the "soulgemgrand.dds" file orange, and half yellow. As a result, half the facets of greater and grand gems turned red, and half yellow. It would take a long time to pick out individually what slices of the shared .dds file are used by the different gems, but I bet that would allow you to color them individually.
i really cant wait for the glowing versions of full soulgems.. but right now as an alternitive im using another mod and this mod so that the glowing versions are from the other mod and the normal versons are from your mod.. so it works ok as a temp fix
Well the glowing version is gonna take abit longer than i figured. Still trying to find the best way to do them. Also have to go and do all the gems in the game. Since it bugs me that the gems you should be able to see through you cant. So when i finally get the time ill get around to do the update.
@kaizersoze27 I havnt had time to work on this mod lately.... Job and real life etc. So the other gems may take awhile. Anyways the 1.3 is i believe 4096x4096.

Yea some of them use the same texture file. But if i ever get around to doing the update they will all have different textures.
As far as some of them having different colors you can change the "base color" of a item within the mesh itself.
Which again when i get time to finally finish the update ill be fixing/adding alot of other things.
Thanks for the endorsement.
Thanks again
I see you are going to do the same with other Gems, so all rubies, emeralds etc. will shine in full glory .. good good, please make it asap
Thanks again
