If I use textures only, can I edit these assets for use in a different game? I am currently making a grass mod for The Witcher 3.

Update your latest version release with your latest main file! That's annoying!

    Such lovely flowers.

But one is missing its texture, the ewp waterplantain. textures\landscape\grass\EWpWaterplantain.dds
From the screenshot file, it's a pretty plant.

Hello! Thank you for this amazing resource!
But I have a little problem - custom grass doesn`t show in Creation Kit. Adding vanilla is ok, and new grass is visible in game, but not in CK. May be you know what can it be? Sorry for my english ^_^
Upd: reinstalling CK from Steam helps.

This mod looks cool. I'm looking to add some variety to my game. (SSE with Flora Overhaul and Verdant installed) Can this mod be added without overwriting all of those mods textures? The idea i have is to add this to the "basket" of grass/flower textures that my game uses. Is that possible?

I took the opportunity to try the Rosebay Willowherb model in-game and find it is quite good in use, too.

    http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/Images/442825/?

Density 99, Z1 100, Z2 200. The original model is a tad too short. Taller plants are stretched a bit too much. Could use some more stem near the ground. These plants grow tall. And they generate a lot of white fluff after flowering.

The static model loads fine in NifSkope but the grass model does not, as if the bottom part of the texture was invisible. What is the difference between the static model and the grass model? The grass model works fine as can be seen in the screenshot.

Thank you. There are many other models I noted that I would like to try out in the game, but this plant I missed a lot.

The texture don't show in nifskope for the original skyrim grasses, and I just re-textured these models, I don't really know why this is.
I agree that there is some fine tuning that could be done with the UV-mapping for some plants.

that's a common thing with grass meshes. has to do something with vertex textures as far as i know. if you turn off vertex colors in the render options, you should be able to see the rest of the textures. so to come back to your question, the difference is a shader flag named SLF2_Vertex_Colors in BsLightingShaderProperty. i know this was a year ago but for anyone wondering, this is why.
