Please let me know what your favorite ENBs are based on this comparison. I will take the top 10 and do a new comparison based on those 10 presets.

Hot Files!! Thank you all for the Endorsements! I honestly hope this has helped some of you to find an ENB preset that fits you.

    **
Numerous people have asked for K ENB. You can find it here:
    http://www.deadendthrills.com/forum/discussion/75/enb-preset-kyo-s-tesv-skyrim-enbs

    **
A special thank you to those who have named their top favorite presets. I will be making a top 10 list and doing a more thorough screenshot comparison of just those presets.

      I'll start.

      K ENB - Pure Light

No comparisons. Just put it up here so people can see it in all its glory.

Sorry if I'm just too stupid to find the right one, but is the K-ENB file really the one with 1.8GB? Thanks

If you downloaded from where I think you downloaded then yes, the compressed folder size is 1.8GB. Uncompressed it will be above 7GB. Largest ENB preset ever created, amiright? Jk, most of what takes up that amount of data are texture mods, the three versions of Kyo's ENBs, DOF, ENB versions, and a bunch of other stuff.

No, I haven't downloaded it yet, with my "high-speed" internet that would take a whole day... As soon as I have some free time, I'll try it. Do I need many of these data files for the ENB or just the enbseries & enbseries.ini like usually ?

I agree, it may not be the best ENB in every picture, but it's always in my top 5 (usually top 3) for every scene. It's very well balanced for interiors and exteriors, day or night, tundra, water, ice flow or ice caves, skin and armour, sun or flame. I suspect ENB's are more subjective in personal tastes than any other type of mod for Skyrim. Vividian wins my vote.

In this comparison Vividian is really dark, not so in game and in other comparison sets on the Nexus. Weird.

Based on your screenshots, my favorite presets are Phinix Natural, and Photoreal.
But I wonder if they would still look the best if the same lighting mods were used for all preset screenshots.

For your top 10 preset comparison:

Maybe take 2 full sets of screenshots, with and without CoT and ELFX.
Or else just state what lighting mods you used with each preset.

Some of the sunrise and sunset screenshots look like noon or midnight shots. Is this caused by the preset? or a mod?
I would like to see day/night transition screenshots for all presets (it must happen sometime).

    Thanks

    Hi Evok.

    Thanks for this share !

But I would like to ask you how can I have this : http://static-4.nexusmods.com/15/mods/110/images/54971-5-1403028302.jpg
    without black bands if possible.

Which ENB do I have to chose ? Not all of them, I hope =)

Thanks in advance and sorry for my English ....

This resource is a must for anyone considering or using ENB's, I am still looking through the screenshots myself. But I'm curious, do you have time to add any of these; Gameplay Performance ENB (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/53100/?), Photoreal ENB - requires RLO & CoT (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/50483/?) or Tamriel Reloaded (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/49834/?)?
These ENB's seem to be very FPS friendly (around 50 FPS), but I currently lack a PC to handle these and others may find them to their taste.

I really wish you enabled FPS counter when making these screenshots - it would have given a rough estimate of a particular ENB performance.

The creator is himself is saying its not important to know the full form. Just know its a lighting and move on

No one really knows what ENB stands for except for Boris Vorontsov, the creator of the ENB series.
Generally speaking, using an ENB you get lots of different effects, based on the ENB and the presets you choose (and of course your graphics card, monitor, etc.)
ENBs change the lighting (usually making nights and dark places seem darker), Depth of Field, Bokeh effect and other options such as grain, color (including for instance ENBs which give a sepia tone) and more.
You should know that ENBs tend to be recourse hungry so you will get anywhere between a 5% to a 50% drop in framerates.
However, the latest ENB binaries have a built-in boost which can really help a heavily modded Skyrim to run smoothly.
Check out Gophers videos for more on ENBs and ENBoost.

      Hope this helps

Where can I find the Evok Enb? Which I know is yours however I can only find the Community ENB under your files.

Also K's other ENB "Kountervibe" and "Vividian ENB" as it works beautifully with Climates of Tamerial get my vote.

There should be an old Evok ENB file under the Community ENB 'mod'. I haven't released my latest preset...yet. If anyone can help me figure out what is broken in my enbeffect.fx file, I will definitely work on it. Sadly, I only have it updated to binary 0.132. But when I try to go to binary 0.254, it doesn't work correctly. The colors are off and I can't replicated the preset. And I don't want to start from scratch. So until that gets fixed, I won't be releasing it. But I can't find anyone to help me figure the problem.

Also, I have a VERY slow computer. And I would love to finish making my lighting mod along with my 4 different EVOK ENB presets, but I can't run the construction set anymore. So, until I get a new computer (which doesn't look likely), I won't be finishing the lighting mod.
