the idea is great, but i have to admit: i am not a FL fan. I use reason and ableton, with those programs i think you could much better. I say: it's a nice start, go on with this!
I gotta admit, this sounds like the first piece of work you ever did on FL. I'm not trying to be a jerk but 1 stock synth sound for the entire thing makes it sound like Atari 2600 quality. You should probably refine this and re-release it when you learn a lot more about compression, synth development, and music theory.
I am not very Music producing savvy so ya this is one of my first projects with FLStudio 11. I'm Better at the 3D Modeling, Level Design and Scripting aspect of skyrim modding. I used to play a couple instruments back in elementary school but now I'm in college as of August 2014 so its been too long to remember anything about notes and stuff.
Any tuts on FLStudio and such would be greatly appreciated. =)
Actually I do know some off hand. I used to dabble in FL Studio 10 before I realized it was fruitless (puns!). I'm not saying music production is fruitless, just that I am not very good at it. Anything I try to make sounds no better than what you can do. I gave it up for college too
Here is a link to the videos I used to get me started. They are old, but still very relevant: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qPxIk-nJvT0&list=RDqPxIk-nJvT0#t=2 (FL Studio Beginner To Pro tuts)
I re-read what I wrote and it kinda came off a snobbish. I am by no means an expert in music or music theory and I only know the basics of mixing/mastering with FL. The best I can do is lay down some 3 note chords and add a lead synth bouncing between the notes (far from good). You said this is one of your first projects so it's not bad, just needs refining. Creating music in a DAW is vastly under-appreciated and much harder than most people think, however I think you understand what a chore it can be. Some songs take over 300 hours to produce. Hopefully those videos help point you in a good direction. Maybe you will be the next Lazy Rich. ^_~
Maybe to help you become good you could do what some other mod authors have done and import Skyrim sounds into FL and tweak their effects to get a better understanding of how the mixer works. Mess with reverb, eq, compression, and whatever other effects you decide. We have been listening to the same Skyrim sounds for so long that tweaking their settings might really be beneficial to you. You will learn exactly how to make everything sound how you want. It could end up becoming another AOS. Just a thought.

Thanks for the tips I am just focusing on my Sky-Placer and my Better Winterhold (Not Released Yet) Mod right now.
listen to some vangelis before taking about synthesized music, you really need to learn the difference.
