For some reason the teller doesn't have the money exchange prompt any more. She did the first time I went there, but now all she'll do is buy and sell normal good like any other merchant.
When i just arrived at Golden Crossroad by using quicktravelings~~and i met a theive which has been killed by my personal body guard and solitude soilders ofcouse~~~then problem comes...i can't find any counters or exchangers inside the house when i sneaked in.......i thought they should be at bedtime otherwise i went to upstairs, still~~there is noone no body at all, the beds are empty~~i just wondering if its maybe from i am using other two similar mod 'Coins of Tamriel(V2 Lengendary vision script free ofcourse)'and 'Exchange currency' which are recommended from there MOD descriptions~~and i uesd NNM installed 'Patch03 for Coins of Tamriel V2 and the Golden Crossroads' which is a compatible patch particularly made for the two MOD above-mentioned, and now i have no idea what to do, the character lvl is 42 now.
This is a wonderful mod at face value, but also for the sheer joy I got from being able to rob a bank and then launder a good deal of the things I had just stolen at that very bank, thanks to the way the monetary exchange system works with my mod set up. Thank you for the good five solid minutes of cackling while I'm sick, the great mod, and the new found craving for a complicated bank heist.
If I were to ever make such a thing, would you mind if I snatched sophy5's idea and rebranded your bank notes as aldmeri brand currency? I don't think I'm the only one who'd get a good deal of joy from robbing the Thalmor.
Hello, I love this mod. However, I'm experiencing a strange problem with the sign out front. I searched the forums and didn't see anyone else with the problem nor any type of solution. The sign out front says it's an Inn (I'm sorry, I totally forgot which one) and has The Golden Crossroads banner in stripes (like a barber pole) up the sign post. I think ETaC had a similar problem with some signs and it was because of SMIM which I am using. MissJennaBee put some trigger in the MCM menu to correct it. I've tried load order but that isn't fixing it. It's honestly not that big of a deal and I could simply disable the sign if I can't fix it. Anyway, thanks again for a great mod and several other must haves for this amazing game. (I'm using Bau Pet Supplies, Cake O'clock, and The Merry Snowberry for Solitude/Haafingar. By the way, The Merry Snowberry works well with ClefJ's Diamond Bluff Settlement which puts a small town around the Solitude Lighthouse.)
Great Mod! This lady, her stacks of fat bank notes, all piled high, jewels just laying out in the open. I'm gonna go out back and chop wood, hopefully after a cord or so she lets me start slippery fingering the bank notes. Neat mod. I'm going to try it out.
I agree that one is just enough. MAYBE tweaking fences to accept correct prices for the coins would be better, but then again, the less tweaking the best.
I'll try this mod with Valuable Coins and one of the available scriptless coin replacers. There are a handful of them. Hopefully, they work similarly enough for the values to be right or at least better than in most places.
The lady does not take stolen goods, I'm afraid. Please let me know how it goes with any other mods, it would be great to confirm compatibility with some others
I suppose one main bank is enough, but the main gold repository of Skyrim being a lightly guarded shack is a little unbelievable. Surely with Skyrim being the way it is at present, any group of bandits would make a raid on this building, or more likely the stacks and stacks of gold within would be seized by either the Imperials or the Stormcloaks. It cancels out the immersion it creates by allowing currency exchange by being so incongruous itself. Unfortunately the only believable place for it would likely be within one of the fortified cities, and most likely Solitude.
I guess you're right, but I personally don't have the time or energy to move it, and I already have several mods that edit the cities - as I said, I mostly made this mod for myself. I already edited the navmesh and all so it would need repairing and cleaning after moving the building around. If someone would like to do it with the updated .esp I uploaded, I would be happy to host it here, with all due credits, for others who would rather have it somewhere else. Until then, I'm afraid the building will stay where it is.
The reason I made the statement above is because I am indeed looking for a bank. I have a mod in the works that turns gold bars into true bullion (while also making smaller gold bars standard for crafting rings and the like). A true bank or vault to get these heavy items exchanged for notes would be quite an asset. Oh well, we'll see what happens!
Sigh, well, I'll see what I can do then. Just because you are asking nicely and, well, it's Monday so we all need some cheering up! In Solitude, NOT in Whiterun because I hate how everyone puts everything over there. Later I'll list the keywords the merchant has in the description, in case other people would like to make mods compatible with this mod.
EDIT: Done now, cleaned up the description page a bit too. NO MORE MOVING IT AROUND. The building is going to stay where it is now, m'kay?
Well, the best of both worlds has happened. Uni000SL has made a mod that allows exchanging banknotes at face value at any merchant, and special banknotes at treasury houses. They don't have to be "sold", where you lose major amounts of money on the markup.
And the mod, "Exchange Currency" is compatible with both my mod, Immersive Jewelry, and this one. ;-)

Also, does the guy accepts stolen coin? :B
And I will not move the office or add any others.

Do you think we can make compatibility so that the bank accepts the bullion from my mod Immersive Jewelry?
