Oh My Fcking Goodness thank you so Much i Just what want i Need Some thing Simple what works that Virgo combat thing was to much for me add dmg and all that crap the fight like Dark soul also killed the game since your stamina goes up fast but your armor is cut by 60% so u die in 1 or 2 hit this mod works perfect no scrip no no nothing since i want to keep my scrip as clean as possible thank you So much i will endorse your mod
Skytweak is a great mod, but I'm trying to avoid using too many scripting mods (yeah, I know I'm paranoid ). Would increasing the health regen for potions and armor enchantments be a viable alternative?
OMG this has been here for 7 years and I've never noticed it?! The cut in magicka regen while in combat has always felt like an unfair stab at mages, like the game is punishing me for being a mage. I know combat cuts stamina regen too but at least you can still attack if you are a warrior. When I play a mage I don't use weapons at all with the exception of bound weapons. But still I found myself in so many situations were I had spent magicka with oakflesh, healing hands, runes, and then literally had to run like a baby and hide and wait like several minutes just for magicka to recover. Grrrr! Anyway I am so glad to see this. I tried making the tweak to the game several times myself, such as adding fcombatmagickarengenmult to .ini but to no avail. Thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you! XD
I know this is an ancient mod and all but the 'normal regen' in combat is nice. Considering NPCs have 100% of normal regen in combat, it balances things out.
Does this effect enemies as well? Will they recover more quickly too? Fair is fair after all. (Well, not really since I have Jutsu, Apocalypse Spells and Sword's Dance XD)
Don't think mods (like skytweak) that modify magicka cost / magicka regen affect npcs. I've tested with ~ and found npc use about 20 magicka when conjuring, while it takes me about 560 magicka when summoning.... vanilla npc already had faster magicka regen than player in combat, wish there are mods that would have the same limitations on npcs as well.
Most seem to be only affecting the player (food need and sleep, frostfall, etc.) Vanilla also had npc magic power scaling (some others say those are powerful version of spells with less magicka cost, not sure which one is correct here) unlike players..
Not to mention vanilla npc had tons of health (this is exception at low level) / magicka /stamina than players as well. Weapons / spells that drain magicka don't seem to work well against npc either.
I downloaded the 15x stamina regen and the 15x magicka regen and the stamina one works beautifully but the magicka one doesn't seem to be doing anything. The .esp is active and I always run BOSS to make the load order is whatever it should be yet the magicka regen doesn't go as fast as the stamina. I'd uninstall it and install it again but since NMM is down for a few days...
Boss overwrites this file with a number of mods that change the same thing - most of the magic rebalance mods do (better, empowered, balanced etc). Try moving them manually to the bottom of your list - they literally only change a single record so it should not cause any incompatibilities. Or you could run wyre bash and merge them into your bashed patch.
Well I'll go ahead and take your word for it since I do have balanced magicka I think I can live with moving one mod all the way to the bottom when I run BOSS =P So ima go ahead and re-activate your mod good sir
