i like your config, but i was having issues conforming it to my tastes, i.e. adding things like katana, tanto, etc, and creating a new list i.e. Bows & Arrows.
i was finally able to figure it out. for whatever reason i had to add katana, tanto, and longsword (from weapons of the third era) in the first few lines of the keywords for it to appear in the sub list. same thing for "chestplate" from DD in the armor sub list.
for the new sub list Bows & Arrows, i had to put it before your weapons list for it to show up and to list both bows and arrows (it was putting both in "other" when i had a sub list under the weapons sub list). don't know why this was happening, but i figured away to make it work.
again, great custom config and thanks for making it available
@Pickel Thank you for listen to my video! Most people wouldn't have. It really makes me happy that some people out there still do care & listen. =]. I think I'll record me modding it & showing how it works on my end instead. Also, I wasn't drunk, lol. I just got done watching some Dragonball Z Kai goodness & I guess Perfect Cell rubbed off on me... XD.
Come to think of it... By any chance, do you have skype or something? I don't normally ask this but I think this would work a lot better in the end result if we work together on this while I'm doing this. I could stream what I'm doing. I'm thinking that this could be the best result to be quite honest.

I definitely agree with what you're saying, I would love to have this mod featured on his page instead of having a full-page for myself. This is just what Favmenumodder's said to do with custom configurations. I totally understand it can be a pain in the ass to go back and forth so hopefully I can talk to the author and get my layout featured on his page for an easy download.
Unfortunatly, so far there's been 230+ downloads and only one instance of the problem you're having, so I have no way to figure out what's wrong at the moment. I'd love to do what I can to help you get it working but I don't have enough info and if anyone else has this probelm they aren't speaking up (If you ARE experiencing something similar, SPEAK UP!)
The one thing I dont think the video addressed was whether you had SKSE (Skyrim Script Extender) which is what you need for the Categorized Favorites Menu in the first place. If you do have it, then it must be something else.
All I can do to help is say make sure you have all the files you need to have Favmenumodder's list working as intended. If you have that working perfectly and then mine on top of it and it screws everything up, let me know.
Til then, I hope you can figure out how to make this work correctly, let me know if you get the original Categorized Favorites Menu working 100% but adding my file messes it up. Also might wanna take it easy on the booze before posting videos, haha

Looks great! The one thing I didn't like about CFM is that some categories were on a second row and you had to move left/right to get to them (I like using keys rather than mouse). Now everything's on the same row!

adding the following lines should fix most of the issue:
[layout]
row1 = Apparel,Potions,Magic,Abilities,Other
row1_height_list = Magic
As for positioning, for 1920x1080 I used -600 for menu_base_y, which places the top RIGHT underneath the tip of an objective marker on the compass.
