I just thought I'd say I love this mod. I find it essential since Redguard is my favorite and most used race. I hope to see it on SSE at some point. I know SKSE is not out yet(I'm never sure which mods require it and which don't), but it'll be awesome if this mod does surface on SSE at some point(even if it is awhile from now)!!
You know the Alikr Prisoner you meet at Dragonsreach Prison, could you make him wear Prison Clothes please, then he should now live at the Bannered Mare as the New Cook with he's Alikr Clothes and Sword, but also as an Essential Follower.
I mean what happens to him after you turn in Saardia, does he disappear from the Game.
Even though if you Save Saardia and Kill Kamatu, he should still hang around the Inn where he can then work as the Meat Seller when you Kill the Wood Elf for the Dark Brotherhood
I think he's still in the jail cell. He shouts for the guard to let him out after you pay for his release but the guard says that he 'lost' the key.
From the wiki: "The guard who is paid to free him will say he has lost his key even though that particular guard has three keys instead of just one. This is because he may not particularly like bounty-hunters like him."
I find it extremely offensive calling this mod realistic, or the claim they're not proud of their heritage just because they're not wearing some uniform.
You're right, I might be proud of my heritage, but I don't necessarily have to wear traditional clothes. I'm sorry, I only wanted to say that an immigrant that comes from very far will always fit his traditional outfit. For example, here in Italy we have a lot of African immigrants, and a lot of them continues to dress their traditional robes.
Exactly, you have no idea how many Chinese and German People live around here in South Africa, yet that doesent mean they Have to speak Our Language or wear the same type of Clothes or support the same Sport as we do
Even if Redguard are proud of there origins and want to show it to all Skyrim they can't were their traditional clothes cause they are designed for the hot climat of Hammerfell and not for cold weather of Skyrim (if the mod is treated realistically).
I'm not an expert, and I might be wrong, but desert clothes should protect you from the warm but also from the cold. Even if it might sound really strange, actually they are thermal clothes, and their goal is to contain the sweat near of the skin of a person.
Offensive? its just a mod for immersion in case people feel redguards should look like they are from hammerfell. I agree not every dresses like their home country/ancestors country. I live in texas but i dont wear a cowboy hat but some people do. Some asians in american areas will still stick to their heritage as if they were born there even if they have never been to any part of asia. Some will dress and act as any american whose family has been in america for centuries (yes i said centuries america has been around since the land masses split to form continents). So maybe not all redguards needed to be changed but its just a mod for game in an attempt to help with immersion. Its not like he called you some sort racist name.
