So this is incompatible with insignificant object remover, but then I come back here to post and ask for a compatible version and the sticky says this feature is already in the mod? So does that mean I don't need IOR? I seem to remember not being able to get rid of the (fugly) little rocks and the kelp I don't need when I used this with IOR and the version hasn't changed since then.... Guess I'm going to go test it.
I am experiencing a problem after installing this plugin. Instead of grass I am seeing this weird little stones...anyone know what can cause this? How to fix it?
I am having this issue too, I have tried to switch around my loadorder around but those rocks are still here and there. What files are they so I can replace with some grass or flowers?
Unique Grasses adds those little rocks. Make sure your grass settings are properly edited in your skyrim.ini as written out in Unique Grasses' description.
I'm having an issue with the shadows not displaying correctly on these ground covers. Cutting straight to the chase, here is my issue:

On the left hand side, there are no shadows on the flora. This is normal. On the right hand side, the flora ought to be obscured by the trees' shadows, however they are not. They are very bright everywhere I go and it is VERY annoying. I've looked around on the net for various fixes but nothing has worked. I've changed skyrimprefs.ini:
And also have enabled similar settings in skyrim.ini.
I'm currently using Somber ENB using the latest binaries (0.264), with Unique Grasses and Groundcovers Plugin by tamu75 (http://www.nexusmods...im/mods/54196/?), nobody else seems to have a problem with this. I've scoured the web for hours and cannot seem to find a fix. Only a few other people have had similar issues, and the fix they find usually revolves around just tweaking the config files (above) which does not work for me.
Hi Dahveed, I had exactly the same problem and it pissed me off for few days last week, cause these ground covers are one of the most realistic grasses I've seen for Skyrim.
Just like you, I had problems with grass not receiving shadows and glowing with same color vibrance inside and outside of the shade, which ruins the whole scene, as can you see here

Then I was using Project ENB (Cinematic), and later switched to Seasons of Skyrim ENB and he problems seem to be gone, as you can see here:

------------- EDIT -------------
Scratch that, the problems are still there no matter which ENB is used! I tried 6-7 more different ENBs and the problem is present in all. The grasses just don't receive shadows. Verdant or SFO grass on steroids works just fine.
Too bad cause this grass looks better than all others
I like how everything looks except area near Whiterun. Grass here is way too thick and doesnt look nowhere as good as in original Unique Grasses. One type of grass dominates over any other and it looks like there is only one grass type.
This mod makes the grass look so much better! But after installing this mod there is now lines of rocks EVERYWHERE, all over the ground. lines of nice little piles of rocks. Everywhere. Is there anyway to turn that off?
Thank you, my graphics card got hot enough to fuse the nitrogen and oxygen out of the air. I'm not sure why you people make mods like this that absolutely no one can use.
speak for yourself, if your card get hot from this, than you need to clean it or have better ventilation for it. Stop crying, no one force you to download.
What a stupid comment.. Who cares your graphic card goes hot ? Stop complaining for nothing no one forces you to install anything on nexus and yes there are people who can run this, I still have 60fps with it.

Thx!
This should be the same place:
"[Grass]
bAllowCreateGrass=1
bAllowLoadGrass=0
bDrawShaderGrass=1
bGrassPointLighting=1
b30GrassVS=1
iMaxGrassTypesPerTexure=8"
These values absolutely have to be there or the game isn't going to generate all the different correct grass types.

(I just want to use the "verdant tundra" instead this one)
