Hey, i don't know if you're still updating this mod, on the off chance you are; It's pretty awesome, most other magic perk mods are super bloated and change too many things that weren't broken to begin with, I have only one comment/suggestion; I think there needs to be a penalty for using mage armor with light/heavy armor. Maybe -75% mage armor rating when wearing heavy and -50% for light, or something like that? Otherwise it seems OP In saying that, still love this mod, super lightweight, and fixes what actually needs to be fixed =)
I don't think the Illusion Perk Tree needs any adjustments, dual casting plus investing in the proper illusion perks will affect high level enemies (except dragons, of course). Also, Fortify Illusion potions can be created using Taproot, Dragon's Tongue, Dwarven Oil, Mora Tapinella, and Scaly Pholiota.
The only adjustment I can think of is maybe adding a second perk point to Animage and Kindred Mage. The second perk point would allow the player to affect the mind of higher level creatures and humans.
